Overall Great Laptop for the Price Tier
This laptop has met my expectations like each of the Alienware I've had before it. I do recommend getting one on sale so the perceived value is more in line with cheaper alternatives. Specifically for this model I like how slim it is, improved cooling, keypad feel, quieter fans, etc.

$3000 is excessive for a paperweight
I have had issues since ive had this laptop. I have called for support too much and this laptop should not be having these many issues 3 months in. Multiple blue screen of death crashes relating to power control failures, no GPU detected, memory failure, computer will not use dedicated GPU for gaming, will not maintain steady fps above 15 for any game without severe stuttering and crashing. I need a refund or a replacement and getting to the right person to talk to is ridiculous!

Insane power for a good price.
I got this laptop as a gift this Christmas from a friend that owns a photography business. He wanted me to have something that I can use for gaming and fun, as well as editing, now that I assist with a lot of projects as the company grows. I am seeing a fair amount of mixed/bad reviews, but I have to say that for me, I haven’t had any negative experiences with this laptop yet.The display is perfect for gaming, but also accurate enough for editing photos and videos. The GPU handles anything I throw at it on ultra, or one step below ultra settings. The construction of the laptop feels durable and of good quality as a whole. The keyboard feels nice to type on as well.Overall this laptop blows my expectations away, and it competes in performance right alongside my friend’s workstation desktop. I really couldn’t ask for more. My only recommendation is definitely slap a 4Tb ssd into the second m.2 slot, extra storage is going to be your friend. One small downside, because it can’t be all rainbows and kittens here: Battery life leaves something to be desired, but with specs like this, you should expect that going in. If you’re gaming on a laptop, and pushing the limits, don’t expect to get more than an hour or so on battery.

Great performance in a small package
Really fantastic gaming laptop in a small chassis. It handles anything I throw at it with ease, and the thermals stay well under 85*. I purchased this “used-like new” and it has its fair share of scuffs and scrapes, but functionally it seems to be in order. There is a weird issue when I turn it on, it shuts off, but the 2nd power on it always boots up like normal. According to other users, this is a dell firmware update issue that should be addressed eventually. I plan on purchasing the extended warranty through dell if they’ll allow it. Overall it’s a great laptop with a premium touch. Battery life is quite good. The speakers and the build quality really blew me away in the x16. I’ve had some premium gaming laptops in the past (razer, legion 7, zephyrus g16) but there’s honestly something special about the x16

Not worth the cost
Already having to send this back for repairs. Screen won’t stay lit. Disappointed.

Good hardware, buggy software, painful support
A nice machine that performs well when running games.Support software was broken when I bought it. Also it crashes overnight in sleep mode, requiring a hard reset. Not yet resolved.Email support doesn't seem to be a thing. You have to call into a noisy call center. Currently sitting through them making me reinstall graphics drivers to fix something that's probably a bios issue.

Bad battery.
Battery won't hold a charge at all only way to use is to leave plugged in. I figured this would have been one of the first things tested. New about the short battery life but not no life at all
