Klean Kanteen All Stainless Loop Cap 2016

I have a Aer sling, and my bottle only just fits in. It’s a squeeze. But now with this new lid it fits. And also there’s no rattle from a dangling loop (like the bamboo version I was considering). And I can still attach the bottle via the carabiner to the outside of the bag. The shop I ordered this from posted the item on the same day as I ordered (Sunday) and it arrived Monday morning. Thats fast. Nice one.

Narrow mouth Klean Kanteen and Hydro Flask bottles are my favorite water bottles and have been for years. The plastic caps they both come with are interchangeable (usually, tolerances can vary a little) and they work fine and are well designed but these all steel caps are way better. Hydro flask used to make the best all steel option but it appears they stopped making them, so this is now the best and only all steel cap I’m aware of. There’s the Klean Kanteen version with bamboo on top but it’s not as robust or as solid as this one. These all steel caps are great because they add a little extra insulation for when that matters (hot/cold) and eliminate the ever increasing plastic exposure in water bottles. Also, these solid one piece caps are much easier to clean since there’s no crevices to deal with which gives bacteria a nice little home to grow and smell. Pro tip on water bottles btw, don’t put anything in them but water and they won’t get gross and smelly ;)
