Great way to handle a few DIN-mounted items in a rack!
This is an item I've been thinking about getting for a while now. I've got a handful of items I'll be installing in it, which otherwise I'd have to rack in an enclosure on the wall (which I despise doing if I can help it). This product is super simple, but fits the bill perfectly. First, the depth is adjustable (see pictures), so you can make it as deep or shallow as you want. The rail comes pre-mounted to the back plate, and there's slots for cables to pass through if needed. It also comes with all required fasteners to put it together, rack screws (M6) AND matching cage nuts! So for most folks, it's everything you need. (For folks with threaded-hole or round-hole racks, you may need to provide your own mounting hardware.)I really don't have any cons to list. Like I said above, this thing is simple, solid, and does a good job at what it does. If I somehow manage to fill this up or need one for another location, I'd definitely go with this one again.

Good solution
The Intellinet Adjustable 19-inch Rackmount 2U DIN Rail Kit has been a great addition to my rack setup, especially with its versatile 8-level depth adjustment feature. I found it particularly helpful when fitting different components, and the heavy-duty design supports up to 27 lbs, so it feels sturdy and reliable. The installation process was straightforward, and the top hat rail design works well for a variety of devices. One of the highlights is the flexibility it provides for mounting DIN rail equipment in a standard 19-inch rack. Plus, the 3-year manufacturer warranty gives me peace of mind that it’s built to last. If you’re looking for a robust and adjustable solution for mounting DIN rail devices, this kit has been a solid and dependable choice for me.

When you need DIN in a rack
This is a well made but if gear! Good powder coating on steel. Very easily adjustable to fit whatever depth you need. The back plane has tapped holes so you're not fiddling with nuts. Allowed me to add several rail mounted equipment to my rack!

What you expect
This is pretty much exactly what you expect, it works nicely for adding in din rail equipment for your server, I am using it for a couple of small POE injectors and I have plans to mount a Raspi in there on the rail as a DNS server.
