Highly recommended
As someone who enjoys yoyoing as a hobby, I recently received the Yoyo K1-Plus Responsive Yoyo, and it's been a great choice for beginners and kids alike. The yoyo is made of durable plastic, making it lightweight and easy to handle. It's designed specifically for responsive play, which means it returns to your hand with a simple tug, making it perfect for learning basic yoyo tricks. The package includes everything you need to get started and more: 12 replacement strings ensure you have plenty of backups, the yoyo glove helps with smoother play and protects your fingers, and the yoyo bag keeps everything organized and portable. The addition of 2 yoyo hubstacks is a nice bonus, allowing for more advanced tricks once you're ready. One thing to note is that as a responsive yoyo, it may not spin as long as unresponsive yoyos, which is something to consider as you progress and want to try more complex tricks requiring longer spin times.Overall, it is a fantastic choice for beginners looking to learn yoyo tricks comfortably and enjoyably, backed by a comprehensive set of accessories that enhance the yoyoing experience.

Takes me back to the 80s
Got this as I used to love yoyos in the 80s (anyone else remember collecting all the different weight versions of well known soft drink themed yoyos?) and thought I'd see if I could still walk the dog and maybe even teach the kids how to do it.First impressions were great, comes in a neat case that fits everything. Spare parts and lots of strings*The yoyo itself has a decent weight and feel about it and spins well. As others have said it's not set up and ready to use but attaching a string is easy enough... just pinch the end opposite the finger knot, then grab it a few cm down from the tip with your other hand and untwist it until you can get your fringer through it, then open up wide enough to fit over the yoyo and release/pull it so it twists back up tight. Job done.*my only real complaint about this item is that while it includes a lot of spare strings, they are sadly IMHO pretty poor quality and that's why I dropped 1 star from the rating. But should be easy enough to get some better quality strings to use and at least they included plenty to get you going.I need more practise but it's like riding a bike... haven't touched a yoyo in decades and I was flipping down and out, and walking the dog in no time... the yoyo itself felt as good as any I used years ago and once I've got upgraded strings I'm sure I'll be doing more advanced tricks in no time... recommend package :)

Good quality Yoyo and easy to use
This Yoyo comes in a convenient gift box and has a nice looking carry case for the yoyo and accessories. There are 12 brightly coloured strings included and once you decipher the slightly confusing instruction manual they are actually pretty easy to attach, just make sure you unwind one end of the string to fit it onto the yoyo (don't just tie the whole string around the yoyo axle with a knot). The strings already have a loop tied one end, that is for the slip-knot that you put on your finger not for attaching to the yoyo itself. If you do it properly you will not have to unscrew the yoyo to separate both halves and you will not have to tie any knots yourself unless you are shortening the length of the string. There are two plastic caps, one on either side of the yoyo (and a spare set in the carry case) which you can hold and spin the yoyo for extra tricks , this is not explained in the instruction booklet and neither is the rather neat two-finger black glove which you get (see photos) which can make you look like a true yoyo pro! The yoyo can be unscrewed to separate both halves for cleaning and lubricating the bearings and you should be careful to check it is not loose before use.Once you get the hang of attaching the string and the slip-knot this yoyo is really quite easy to use, it has a good balance and I was able to use it straight away without too many issues, you may need a little practice if you've not used a yoyo before and some children will need a little extra encouragement if they can not get it to work well first time (maybe tell them it's like riding a bike, once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze and good fun too)I am not a yoyo expert so could not do any really advanced tricks, but even my "walking the dog" attempts impressed my daughter and she had good fun with it afterwards. This really is quite an entertaining simple toy, it's good quality too and, as the box suggests, would make a fun gift.

Good solid yoyo for all
This is aimed at beginners and for sure it is fine, but it's also very well balanced and actually fine for people with some yoyo experience too.The solid build is also great as it will undoubtedly succumb to some knocks and bangs and this is certainly built to last. You need to tie the strings at first and I can see why they did this, it's so that you don't just discard it if the string breaks/wears, you have the knowledge, ability and strings to replace, which add to it in my eyes, although it might put some off.The bearing seems smooth enough and of decent quality that it wouldn't need replacing within the lifetime of the product.I also like the hard case with zipper that comes with it. It protects the yoyo nicely, which is a bonus.Over all I recommend this for anyone that wants a first yoyo as this is a great introduction.5 stars
