Stop putting ur knives in a dishwasher
My son bought me this knife for mother's day, as I'm a cook and always complaining about the lowsy knives at work. Second thing I noticed (as the first was the personalization he'd added, which I love) was the tip guard had a split in it. To me, this shows how sharp the knife is. Unlike some reviews I've read with ppl thinking that means "they can't even package a knife correctly". I'm gonna leave my comments to them to myself ;-). But I hope they read my review and learn they should probably stick to butter knives. Next thing, this knife is so well balanced. Better then a couple of knives I have that I spent WAY TOO MUCH $$ ON. I thought the shape of the handle might be irritating with alot of use...I was wrong. By the end of my shift at work, I'm still looking for more stuff to prep. Sharpness...this baby sliced through a 3/4 frozen eye of round roast leaving me with perfect 3/4" thick steaks with the smoothest cut. Last is just some simple advice from someone who's graduated culinary school and been cooking for longer then some reading this have been alive...DONT PUT YOUR KNIVES IN ANY DISHWASHER!!! If you value what u spend ur money on, HANDWASH IT!!! I've got walmart cheepies I won't put in a dishwasher, I certainly won't put a good blade with a wooden (any wood, not just rosewood) handle in a dishwasher. At Work or at home. And since my knife is personalized, no mistaken it at work. And my coworkers respect it and won't touch it without asking first. And they have all learned NEVER PUT A KNIFE IN THE DISHWASHER. That's just bad kitchen manners. Lol. I hope this review helps. Time for me to go shop and buy their pairing knife now. Later all, and I wish you happy cooking!!!

Terrible service and quality
Got sent the wrong size blade after a month and it wasn’t personalized as requested. Then got sent a replacement blade which came with the tip broken off
