Doesn't last long
Bought this to replace an earlier model that I'd had for a number of years, that stopped working. This one, the batteries run down very quickly so it's not as efficient as the old one seemed to be. It works well with new batteries, but you can't put them in every time, to feel like it's doing a good job.

It works
Replaced one I had for many years. Slightly different design but works just as well. Very easy to use.

Bliss!
Having suffered foot eczema for 20 years and therefore intimately knowing the ingredients of every foot cream on the market (what I don't know about urea content ain't worth knowing), bought it, tried it and over my dead, yet beautifully foot shorn body will they get it back.Due to build up of dried skin which cracked the balls of my feet and bled, my bathroon sometimes looked as though I'd 'done a Dexter' and committed some heinous blood lust number on some poor soul. Only 2 sessions with this and my feet look like a new-borns. I took advice from other reviewers and bought rechargable AA batteries - it uses 2 x AA (and for icing on the cake and as an after thought, also bought a recharger). Take note, you will need these as it's a power hungry little beastie. This is without doubt the best item I've come across, and I've used them all. Love it x

Genuinely changed my life!
I have spent the last couple of years suffering with the skin on the balls of both feet cracking, and often these cracks went right through the skin and bled. It was a truly debilitating condition, and sometimes prevented me from participating in sport, and even in walking any distance. I had tried all kinds of lotions and potions to moisturise, and had taken to slathering my feet in Aqueous cream each night, and wearing some natty little socks which my wife had bought. It helped, but did not cure the problem. The Micro-Pedi helped immediately, it was clear that the hard skin was being removed, but for the first month or so my feet did split a couple of times. However, perseverance paid off, and my feet are now soft, smooth and undamaged. This is without doubt the best £40 I ever spent. I would urge anyone suffering as I once did to buy this device.

How did i live without it
I've had real problems with extremely hard skin, on my heels, for more years than i care to remember. I've seen a chiropodist, used blades, which have ended up with me on antibiotics! Used any new foot file that has come on the market, the only thing being really effective was the chiropodist! I saw this, read a couple of good reviews, and deciced to go for it. I'm so pleased that i did. After going over my feet, for a few minutes, it left me with lovely smooth feet. I've only used the blue, coarser, roller, as i need the heavy duty one, at the moment. Initially i thought that it's quite pricey, but it works out about the cost of one and a half visits to the chiropodist, and, hopefully, it will last for many years, although the rollers will need replacing, at some point. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a hard skin problem.

Wow Wow Wow
I have always suffered with really dry feet where it peels off and looks so unattractive. My main concern was my heels which had taken on a lovely colour yellow no matter what cream I used! My feet would hurt from all the peeling (I know its yuk but you understand) but after using this no more!I bought this on a whim (£30 is a lot for a foot file in my opinion) but after I used it I was shocked and impressed. It really levels out the dry skin leaving you with wonderfully soft skin underneath, repeating this process then washing the foot and using a basic moisturiser has meant my feet look amazing. Worth the money.Definately recommend!

A great addition to any foot care routine
A great addition to any foot care routine, only got a couple of down side concerns. Firstly make sure you use good quality batteries, it's no good "borrowing" them out of the tv remote because it will stop the file surface working when you start adding pressure. second, as you file away the dead skin, it turns it into dust, making a bit of a mess.

Brilliant MicroPedi
Got this little gadget yesterday from Amazon after reading mixed reviews.I love it, already my feet look so much better. It does need good quality newbatteries to run properly. You need to do it in the bathroom as it takes the dry skin off as a powder, lookedlike talcum all over the floor.Going to have to restrain myself from using it too much, once a day seems sensible.Giving this 5 stars, thinking of getting some more for Xmas pressies.
