As technology has developed, I've gradually replaced all my portable drives with SSD drives. While they're a lot sturdier than magnetic drives, they can still be susceptible to damage in transit and because they're a lot more expensive, it's a no brainer to get a case to protect them on the move. This case fits the WD drives perfectly. Fixes them firmly in place with the band in the middle of the case and a handy sleeve in the lid for cabling. The cases very hard and sturdy and offers great protection to my portable drive without being too bulky.
