This was a perfect fit for our smaller shower. Seems to be very sturdy thanks to the crossbars. It was very easy to put together and is serving the purpose well. Seems to have a decent warranty as well. Height is adjustable. This highest setting is perfect for us and give security in the shower.

Well made, easy to assemble, strong and durable. Bought for my shower, and used it after surgery with hand held shower head. Worked well, comfortable and small enough to use in a 36x60 shower.

PELEGON Shower Chair for Inside Shower (350 lb) works well in our tub. I bought this for my wife. The padded seat is a lot better than just sitting on a plastic seat. I adjusted it to the right height, easily. Just those little push buttons, and it's where you want it. The seat has just enough curve to it to keep your bottom from sliding off. If you need to sit when showering, this is the right unit for the shower. (In the winter, you need to warm it up first.) I think it's sturdy enough to last for a few years, anyway. It is well made, that's why I gave it 5 stars.

**** GENERAL **** As of the date of this review my chair has been in use for about three weeks with no issues. I needed a chair for a small shower with sliding glass doors (photo 8). For my needs the choices are somewhat limited so I decided to give this PELEGON chair a try. I like the addition of the cross bars which will give this chair added strength and stability. The chair's weight rating of 350 pounds is a good thing. The weight rating is simply a rating. This does not necessarily mean anyone will fit comfortably on this chair. I checked the Amazon product page for dimensions before ordering. The rubber feet holds my chair firmly in place on my shower tile floor. I have no issues with the chair sliding while in use. There are drain holes in the feet (photo 4) and seat. I installed the seat pad, not mainly for comfort, but for a more secure surface with regards to the seat possibly getting slippery. This pad is made of a rubbery material that will not absorb water. See (photos 3 and 8). I removed one of the rubber feet and discovered the inside of each rubber foot contains a metal disk that will prevent the chair legs from damaging the feet over time from the constant human weight placed on the chair (photo 4). The feet are factory installed so this is not obvious. I was able to easily remove the feet by sliding them off the legs. **** ASSEMBLY **** The included instruction manual is well written and easy to follow. No tools are required. Just follow the steps as shown in the manual. The seat pad is self adhesive. I installed the pad before the seat was used so it would get maximum adhesion. The screws are three different lengths. An extra screw of each size is included with curved washers as well. I confirmed the thread pitch of the screws which are M6-1.0 (photo 5). **** MATERIALS **** The Amazon product page states the material is aluminum which are just the legs. Aluminum will not rust. I could not find information on the Amazon product page regarding materials for the other parts. As of the date of this review a couple of reviewers stated they had rust issues. I contacted Pelegon regarding the materials. Screws, brass colored screw threads, adjustment buttons and metal disks inside of the rubber feet are stainless steel. The curved washers are made of a corrosion-resistant steel alloy. See photos 4, 5, 6 and 7. At this point I am not concerned with rust. If anything changes in the future I will update this review.

Great value, lightweight but sturdy. You should tighten the knobs after each use for safety.

This shower chair gets 5+ stars! Sturdy, fits my small shower perfectly and easy to put together.

Very easy to assemble although don't forget to use the curved washers like we forgot about the first time. Hehe. Feels incredibly stable for its size, which fits perfectly in our small tub. Height adjustment is nice although we like keeping the legs as short as possible for even more stability. For the price we paid ($30) this is a fantabulous purchase. Even if this shower chair does not last forever, keeping the price in mind, a very solid 5 star product. Good job! I know it would increase the price but if the white plastic seat was solid or internally reinforced, I would gladly pay much more for the chair. It seems like the seat is hollow plastic which means I don't dare put my entire weight onto the handholds on each side. If the handholds could support my weight, I could float gymnastic style and have my spouse help me to reach certain places. ;)
