We wanted our gate to have a finished look. These were the right size and style for our gate.

Solid??? NOT!
Maybe I don't understand solid. Sure it is "solid cast" but it is hollow on the under/back side. Looks good but does not feel good like a SOLID handle. We are disappointed but it is pretty well made and does serve some purpose. Just know that the backside of the handle is hollow. I wish I could have gleaned this fact before buying. Decided to install anyway on the interior sliding barn door. Glad our door is only 3 feet wide and not a large door. Handle does not feel good to the hand. Other that this, it looks good.
