BT is lacking but it is fun
I'm getting into microcontrollers and while it is quite a rabbit hole this thing is pretty fun. I got the wfi/bt version but I think I don't need it for most things. IMPORTANT, IF you just want to make something with Bluetooth get AN ESP32 it has better support and their own chip. Pi Pico and Pico 2 uses the Infineon CYW43439 BT/WIFI chip. It uses btstack but its only about a year old so everyone before that went the esp route. I found some but very little help out there and documentation on BT is sparse, unless you read the entire BT spec then you'll be fine.

Received a defective unit
It won't connect to my macbook, the onboard led won't turn on indicating it has no power.
