and a great value when you catch it on sale
Rotella T6 is a high quality motor oil, and a great value when you catch it on sale. I live in North Dakota where winter ambient temps can drop to 40 degrees (F) below zero. I run Rotella T6 in my personal LBZ Duramax truck, and my work truck (also Duramax, but LML). I keep the block heaters plugged in during the winter most of the time, but occasionally cold starting without a block heater cannot be avoided. This motor oil is always up to the task. Rotella T6 has an extremely low (temperature) pour point, and the Duramax engines are able to build oil pressure quickly no matter how cold it is. Rotella T6 is a true 4-season performer; I run it year round. On a fresh oil change when I'm driving lots during the summer, I'll go up to 20k mile service intervals. I wouldn't recommend 20k intervals unless you rack up miles very quickly, and your diesel engine does not use EGR.

Simply the best !!
It's worthy for it's high performance ! I modified my review after using more than 10000 km and continuing. It's still giving wonderful performance, harshly pick up, excellent milage, no burn out.🥰 But will not be able to fill it again due to it's price rise more than 300% 😭

truly a five star lubricant
a lot of people will certainly balk at the prospect of putting this Rotella into a gasoline crankcase what with the word "diesel" on the bottle. They'll look for the familiar and reassuring API seal and be left wanting. Mine is a gasoline powered, 3.0L normally aspirated inline six of german extraction and it absolutely *loves* a good forty weight full synthetic. These "diesel" oils are a rougher breed, the oil with the leather jacket and that knife you flip around all fancy and badass TBN boots to stomp all over the acids attendant to the diesel crankcase, the bandana over the mouth to filter out the copious carbon and......bleh you get what i'm saying, hopefully. *RECOMMENDED^

Great oil.
Best diesel oil around. Been using this oil for 10 years in 2008 Diesel motor coach. I allso use it in 1997 ski boat , 1998 Jaguar , 2000 jeep, 1972 20hp lawn tractor all have lots of use and run great. I would not use it in Gasoline vehicls newer then 2008 as they reguire different additives.
