NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY
This Nulaxy Bluetooth unit actually works really well. I was going to buy Bluetooth speakers to clip onto the visor of my 1997 Land Cruiser, and accidentally ran across these little FM xmitter products. There are many brands and models, but this one had a couple of nice features and seemed to come recommended, so I chose it. I tune it to an FM station that has the least static and no signal at all, and I pre-program that frequency to a pushbutton on my radio. The unit connects via Bluetooth almost instantly when the car is started (and a voice notifies me that it's connected), and then on a call, telephone conversation audio comes out clear and smooth. Turn it to its max volume and it may not shake the fenders off your car but it's not bad at all...and that's on a older truck, too. The only music audio I've tried so far is my "Favorites" playlist from a YouTube app. It plays them very nicely. And I can pause them with the multifunction button (and occasionally fast-forward past the ads in between each "track" by turning the multifunction button briefly clockwise...although it sometimes also skips to the entire next track). Fidelity is about as enjoyable as if a radio station was broadcasting the songs. Initially some features weren't working, until I realized that my dashboard cigar lighter is in a recessed dashboard area that's too narrow and the dashboard's plastic was holding the Bluetooth device's "light" button down. This made a number of features not work properly. So I mounted the Nulaxy device on a small extender "stalk" and it works flawlessly. Navigation audio goes silent during a phone call, but that's an iPhone thing…and it comes back automatically and quite instantly when the call terminates. Probably again per the iPhone's own behavior, navigation audio takes precedence over music audio loudness-wise, but the music audio continues playing softly in the background and then comes back to the foreground each time the navigation app stops talking. So I can listen to music while navigating, and it works fine. My strategy if I want to listen to the radio is to listen to whatever station I want...baseball game on AM or whatever...and if a phone call comes in, I just switch the radio quickly to FM and hit the radio's pre-programmed frequency button, and then I answer the call on the Nulaxy device. If I want to initiate a call, I turn the radio to the FM frequency first and then initiate the call on the phone (by typing or by using Siri commands), then converse via the Bluetooth device. The "dial last number called" quick-double-button-press works too...but only seems to work for the last call that I myself initiated, not the last call that called me and spoke with me. Not a big deal there, and that could be an Apple iPhone thing too, for all I know. I'm not sure if Siri commands work without touching the phone...but of course they still work on the phone itself. About the only small wrinkle, and it's just the nature of different signal source amplitudes and not the fault of this device, is that FM radio volume must sometimes be turned up a bit to compete with road noise...so in those cases I need to remember that I had turned the radio volume up before I switch back to the baseball game...or I may hear "Beanball!" or "Kill the umpire!" come out of the speakers really loud. (But since I'm yelling those things at the top of my lungs whenever I listen to a ball game anyway, it's hardly a big deal...) Overall this great little gizmo has it all over my original idea of putting speakers on the visor above my head -- so many limitations and complexities are simplified and improved with this approach compared to separate speakers (which would need to be manually turned on, and frequently recharged, and I'd still have to turn off or pause other audio to make them worthwhile at all). This device is a dirt cheap way of adding full-featured completely satisfying Bluetooth connectivity to my nearly-30-year-old Land Cruiser for a whopping $12.47 Black Friday sale price. Would I buy another? C'mon, man, who the heck needs two older Land Cruisers? : )

Best FM transmitter.
Works great and connects quickly. Charging is fast, sound quality is clear, and hands-free calling works well. Easy to set up and looks nice at night. Definitely worth the price.

Exceeded my expectations. Couldn’t ask for better.
Initially I was just searching for a decent plug-in car charger with at least 2 Power Delivery USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. Then I stumbled upon this product in the same price range. It had most of the charging port specs I wanted AND there was the added function of turning my car radio into a bluetooth speaker. I was a bit suspicious of the quality of these features based on the low $10 price tag, but I figured “oh what the heck, as long as it charges my phone, any other features are all up-side, regardless or quality.” Well, it turns out after receiving and briefly testing out the item, all of the advertised features work well and I couldn’t come up with any complaints about the quality. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t really tell you about all the different sound characteristics, but I can definitely say that the sound was clear with no static. The FM signal was strong to create complete silence on the radio station you tell it to connect to (when it is connected but no sound is playing). The microphone built into this device transmitted my voice clearly to the person on the other end of a phone call, without me having to pay special attention to where I was directing my voice from a normal driving position in my truck with my power port down low front and center. I even tried it in a power port located inside an open armrest console slightly below where the driver’s elbow would be, and it still picked up my voice clearly. It’s nice that it allows you to choose whatever FM frequency you want for transmitting to your radio. The bluetooth connected to my phone easily. The colorful LED light ring around the device lets you choose the color or let it continuously slowly cycle through all the colors, but I found the best LED feature to be the fact that you can turn them the lights off. I also like that you can easily hold a button down to turn the entire unit off when you don’t want it to automatically connect to your phone and vehicle. This is also good for preserving my truck’s battery since my power port is the type that stays on even when my truck is off. Note that the charging ports DO still work when the rest of the unit is powered off. The bass boost option toggles on and off, but my truck has crappy speakers, so I couldn’t tell if this feature improved the sound or made it worse. There’s even a voltmeter built in that lets you see the voltage of your vehicle’s battery whenever you power this unit on. That will help me monitor how much drain is on my truck’s battery after long periods without running it. I haven’t yet had a chance to properly test the accuracy of the advertised charging port specs, but I’ll update this review if I find that the charging speed or wattage don’t seem as advertised. I’ll also update this review if the quality of the product degrades or if it stops working too soon. If I were being greedy, the only improvements to this product that I would have asked for would be an increase in Power Delivery charging wattage specs. And although the following is probably overkill, I like the idea an additional mechanical switch to turn off power to the entire device including the charging ports, absolutely ensuring zero phantom drain on the car battery. Such a feature does not seem to be popular on chargers anywhere though since their phantom drain when not in use is considered negligible enough. Overall I find this product to be GREAT and as FLAWLESS as you can get for $10. I plan to order one in a different color for another vehicle as soon as I submit this review.

Good product. Only 1 design flaw
Bought this bc i couldnt find the one i bought a few years ago. PROS: I like the charging options for usb-c and usb-a. Connecting is easy with my android and ive had no issues staying connected. Pause/play on device works well. Colored light options are mildly entertaining. Signal is strong and has no issues transmitting to my radio. The bass boost button is nice and doesnt affect the treble like other devices. Mic seems to work well on calls and i had no complaints from other person on call. CONS: When first powering up, each time, theres little short pulses of buzzing. It eventually stops after about 5 or 6 buzzes and doesnt do it again. The station range only goes to 88.1 which sucks because i use 87.7 which i know works everywhere so far. Setting the station takes getting used to. You push in and turn and the have to quickly turn and let go to go one decimal. A split second too long and it functions like a seek button. Overall, its a good solid product. Seems clearer than my other one and has some useful aspects. Just wish it went below 88.1. Just bought a second one because i gave my first one to my gf's daughter.
