KOM KOM 4" Paring Knife Wood Handle (503-1), 10.1 x 2.6 x 0.5 inches,Brown

I have very expensive Japanese chef knives and gyotos, and I cherish those and absolutely believe it was worth paying extra for those knives. However, for a paring knife, I prefer these cheaper Kiwi knives which I can use for a long time, and once they get dull I can just get new ones. This knife is perfect for small tasks like peeling vegetables/fruit, cutting off the ends of garlic, or even roughly slicing herbs. I use it a lot when I don't want to reach for my large gyoto that requires lots of maintenence. I don't feel bad about being rough with them and leaving them a bit dirtied until dinner is over rather than washing and drying them after every use.

I was happy to find Kom Kom knifes available here. They are excellent and hard to find, I bought 2 but received one Kom Kom ($14.07) and one Kiwi ($5.89)- cheaper because it is...cheap: the screws that hold the handle are of poor quality, and the blade does not stay sharp at all. As the shape and size of the knives is similar, the seller must have thought that the customer wouldn't know the difference. I can't send the kiwi back because I live in Brazil and someone was kind enough to bring my purchase. I am very upset about it: the kiwi knife went straight to the recycling bin. I should get $8.09 back

These things are fantastically sharp and hold and edge well. I don't think you can find a better pairing knife for such a reasonable price. This is the third Kiwi knife I've purchased.

My paring knives arrive today. That's one day earlier then the time window they gave. The knives are well made and very sharp. Shave the hair off your arm Sharp. Five stars for both the product and their service

I was disappointed. It was low price but I think I could get a knife as good as this at any grocery store. It is an average knife , not the great knife the reviews indicated. I don't even use it anymore. I just threw it in a drawer.

Don't put this in the dishwasher--the smooth wood handle is now likely to give me splinters. Otherwise, it's okay.

I found exact same knife as 20 years ago, same factory. and quality is still same as 20 years ago, means top knife

Tomtom knives are the sharpest knives I've ever purchased. Have many in my collection and will not buy any other brand

Great handle to hold and it slices through even the toughest swede as if it was butter great product would not be without it.

Great knife, amazing price. Shipping takes a LONG time.. but it's worth it. Knife arrived well packaged and it's so super sharp! Would definitely buy this again.
