This is a really nice light! First off, the amount of light this thing puts out is wild for its size and price point. On high, this flashlight can get up to 3000 lumens, while medium is rated for 1000lm, and low at 300lm. During my testing, I was able to get it to fully illuminate a house 200m/650ft away at night without any problems. The functionality of this light is very straightforward with impressive results, being able to throw a long distance while also giving you plenty of usable flood light in the process. The color temperature is between 6000-6500k, which is a bit cool for my tastes, but I imagine it's better suited for diving than a warmer temperature. The light is really hefty, with its full metal construction and large battery that comes included. According to the manual, the battery seems like it will last a long time, but I haven't run it all the way down yet. One unique thing that I really liked about this light is that it included a small charger for the 21700 battery, which isn't super common. It's also very tough - it's well built and actually waterproof, which I tested out by submerging it in a glass of water for about 15 minutes. While it's not the same as diving down 100m with this light, it's definitely watertight. Overall, I would definitely recommend the DL02. For a light this bright that includes both the battery and charger in the box while also being waterproof, this is a really solid deal!

Looks well built, charger works well, and it's extremely bright. The switch is precise and easy to use with one hand. Love the small fornat for spearfishing. Can't wait to test it in the water.

First off I want to state I received this light for the purpose of reviewing by Wurkkos. I will put forward likes and dislikes about the light in hope of helping those considering it for purchase. Most of my use with the light was over several nights as I walked the dogs. The light seemed well packaged and included a few accessories like extra O-rings, lanyard, a USB-C charger and a short charge cable. The charger isn’t anything fancy but got the job done and is fairly compact. The light also had a protective tab inside to keep the battery from making contact with one of the springs during shipment. The larger size lanyard is easy to put on and take off and the rubber tube is a nice touch. The switch was my favorite part about the light. Being able to find the switch easily in the dark and pick just what mode you want in a hurry was great. I also really like the overall smooth aesthetic and feel of the design. I did a minimal water submersion test and operated the switch under water and it seemed to keep water out just fine. The color balance of the LED is pretty cool but seemed appropriate for the intended purpose of the light and for good clarity at night. This LED seemed pretty powerful and put out a good amount of light. It also gets warm pretty quick on high. The 21700 battery is a nice slim battery for its capacity and gives good battery life. The ability to mechanically lock out the light by unscrewing the head half a turn or so is helpful. If putting the light in a bag this is a great idea so it can’t accidentally get turned on. I also like that the light uses a non-proprietary battery. The battery level indicator is always on if the light is on. My biggest dislike was not having a fourth lower power setting. I had to train myself to keep the spot on the horizon and use the less intense part of the beam to look at things up close. This method seemed to help and I got pretty used to it. The lanyard hole also has slightly harder edges and was a little thinner than I really liked but once the lanyard is installed it didn’t seem to be a problem and felt pretty sturdy. All things considered the DL02 feels like a solid light. It has a bit of weight to it at 7 ounces (200 grams) with the battery. The more I used the light the more I liked it. For me the biggest improvement that would make the light much more versatile would be one more additional lower power setting. The switch is different than most but what makes it unique and fun to use.

The DL02 is another great flashlight from Wurkkos. Created with diving in mind, the flashlight has a rotary switch used to access the 3 different modes, on one side is low and medium, which is 300 and 1000 Lumens respectively, or you can switch it the other way to get high mode, which is a full 3000 lumens! The flashlight comes with a smooth reflector and an SFT70 led, so you get a beautiful beam that is rated for an impressive 496m of throw. The smooth reflector means you also get 61500 candela. I haven’t had a chance to use it underwater, but its construction makes me confident that it will do great. Some may not like the lack of onboard charging (the flashlight comes with an independent charger that will charge the included 21700 battery as well as many others in your collection), but this lack of a port means that the flashlight can accompany you underwater properly. Great flashlight for diving, but also great for emergencies (waterproof) or for someone who just wants a basic flashlight that is super bright! The switch is very satisfying to click back and forth, and the beam is beautiful, check out my video to see it in action. Wurkkos has done it again!

Incredible dive light, and the company has exceptional customer service. I've dove with this light all the way up to 130 feet, in coral reefs and wrecks, and every time I'm surprised how bright it is. It has three settings, but I typically only use the brightest setting, but the other settings are helpful to avoid spooking fish, but I've found they have very little reaction to this light. I've noticed other divers sometimes follow me, because I can find the lobsters and eel with this light and they can't! The battery is rechargeable and lasts a long time - I've used it for an entire week on a single charge. I had a question about the light and contacted their customer service, and Sybil responded back the same day! Awesome light, and an awesome company.

Hiermit möchte ich meine Eindrücke und Erfahrungen zur Wurkkos DL02 (SFT70 HI kaltweiß) teilen. Die Lampe habe ich mir hauptsächlich aufgrund des LED-Typs, sowie des Bedienkonzepts zugelegt. Taucher bin ich nicht. Erster Eindruck/Lieferumfang: Die Lampe kommt in einem schlichten Karton zum Aufklappen. Neben der Lampe mit installiertem 5000mAh 21700er Akku findet sich ein Ladegerät mit USB-C/USB-A Kabel, eine kurze Anleitung, Ersatz O-Ringe und ein langer Lanyard zum Zuziehen (mit teilweise Gummiüberzug). Die Lampe macht einen glatten, wertigen und ser robusten Eindruck. Der Drehschalter aus Metall macht richtig was her. Sie ist für EDC etwas zu groß, aber kompakt genug für jede Jackentasche. Sie wiegt betriebsbereit 198g. Im Inneren befindet sich der Akku (mit dem Isolationsplättchen das vor dem erstem Einsatz entnommen werden muss). Die Anodisierung ist fehlerfrei und im glänzenden Finish ausgeführt. Reflektor und LED sind sauber zentriert und frei von Verschmutzungen. Die Gewinde laufen geschmeidig. Das Gehäuse ist über doppelte O-Ringdichtung abgedichtet. LED/Lichtleistung: Die SFT70 LED erzeugt mit dem glatten 28mm Reflektor ein recht gleichmäßiges Lichtbild mit leichten Übergängen. Es ist ein klarer Hotspot auszumachen, der auf einer weißen Wand leicht eckig erscheint - im Alltag merkt man davon jedoch nichts. Die Lampe ist recht "throwig", bündelt also relativ stark. Eine beachtliche Reichweite ist möglich. Das Licht ist kaltweiß mit ganz leichtem grünstich (mein subjektiver Eindruck). Die Farbwiedergabe dürfte besser sein. Die angegebenen 3000 Lumen wirken realistisch (Ich habe maximal ca. 6,5A bei vollem Akku in der hellsten Stufe gemessen, mittel = 1,6A, niedrig = 0,5A) - die Lampe beeindruckt mit einer hohen Leistung für die Größe. Erfreulicherweise hält sich die Hitzeentwicklung bei hoher Leistung in Grenzen. Die niedrigse Stufe is bereits relativ hell und reicht im Alltag für die meißten Aufgaben aus. Da die Lampe über einen Boost-Treiber verfügt ist die Helligkeit unabhängig von der Akkuspannung, d. h. die Helligkeit nimmt im Laufe des Betriebs mit Absinken der Akkuspannung nicht ab, was ich sehr schätze. Der Boost-Treiber ermöglicht durch seine hohe Effizienz eine möglichst lange Einsatzdauer je Akkuladung. Akku/Ladung: Der 21700er Akku lässt sich über das beiliegende Ladegerät mit USB-C Buchse laden. Die Ladung wird klar über die kleine Kontroll-LED (rot) angezeigt. Ist die Ladung beendet leuchtet die Kontroll-LED dauerhaft grün. Der Akku wird auf 4,20V geladen - vorbildlich. Das Ladegerät lädt den Akku über meinen PC mit 5V/1A. Sehr erfreulich ist, dass über meinen 65W Laptop Reiselader, der sonst bei vielen Lampen und externen Ladern streikt, der Akku auch mit 5V/1A geladen wird (jeweils mit einem USB-C Powermeter gemessen). Ebenfalls erfreulich: der Akku mit 5000mAh Aufschrift kommt bei meinen Tests auf ca. 5100/5300mAh abgegebene/aufgenommene Kapazität (Wurkkos Akkus halten die angebenen Spezifikationen ohnehin gut ein, dieser Akku ist wohl ein besonders gutes Exemplar). Der Akkustand wird über eine LED mittig des Schalters angezeigt. Handling/Bedienung/Schalter: Das Handling ist gut. Die Lampe liegt durch die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit des Akkurohrs geschmeidig in meiner Hand. Der Drehschalter ist sehr gut mit dem Daumen, ggf. auch mit Handschuhen, ertastbar und auch in Notsituationen zuverlässig und intuitiv zu bedienen. Leider kann man, wenn die Lampe aus ist, nicht direkt in die niedrige Stufe einschalten. Wird der Ring in den Uhrzeigersinn gedreht gelangt man zur höchsten Stufe, dreht man ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gelangt man erst zur mittleren und dann zur niedrigen Stufe. Die Lampe ist nicht "Tailstand"-fähig, lässt sich also nicht auf den Lampenfuß stellen. Einen Clip gibt es nicht, ebenso ist die Lampe nicht besonders griffig. Dafür ist der Lanyard umso griffiger und lässt sich gut fixieren. Eine interne Ladefunktion fehlt mir schon. Das sind aber z. T. Punkte, die bei einer Lampe, die fürs Tauchen entwickelt wurde, üblich sein werden. Die DL02 ist eine tolle Lampe - und die erste Tauchlampe in meiner Sammlung. Sie ist robust, bietet einen für die Größe sehr guten Throw, einen außergewöhnlichen Schalter und hohe Effizienz. Jedem Nicht-Taucher sollte jedoch bewusst sein, dass man durch das Konzept dieser Lampe auf einige im Alltag nützliche Features verzichtet.

Excellent torch. Good value. There are 3 settings, mostly kept it on the lowest for night dives and turned up when required. No issues and easy to use.
