It's a long, good quality usb lead that was used to power a ring camera. Long enough to go along skirting and over a few door frame mouldings to reach through cam.

Having only used this item 4 times to charge up the riolink security camera as the solar does not keep up with power useage at this time of year i purchased this cable as a way to keep cameras working and have enough cable length to plug into usb socket inside of property .... the problem happened when i plugged the micro usb end into back of camera and the end sheered off .... i had used this before a few times with no problem but the connectors on the end of cables are not any good to take pushing them into the thing you want to charge up .... its the old saying buy cheap buy twice and this certainly caught me out !

The cables which come with small home security cameras are always way too short for convenient use so I wanted to get a longer one: not as easy as you'd expect when you need the old style micro-USB. This arrived in a clear fronted, resealable bag and is very good indeed. The cable is quite thin so is easy to snake around the skirting boards without being intrusive and the little wire clips that come with it let you ensure it stays put and looks neat. The 10m length should be enough for most domestic needs where you're running from a power socket to the top of a window, say. I can only speak for power delivery, I've no need for data transmission over this cable, but for my needs it's ideal.

Purchased these to operate my security cameras but when trying to fit them no joy had to send back

This is a nicely made, really long Micro USB cable, perfect for installing your mini camera wherever it is required, rather than being at the length of the usually quite short cables that it came with. Being able to choose where such a thing sits makes the camera so much more useful and also allows you to hide it away where it may not be immediately noticed as a camera - which is important sometimes. The cable is of good quality - thin, but resilient. The included clips make routing the cable much easier and the benefit that this brings is immeasurable. I'd say that this was an important thing that most camera kits should include as part of the main purchase, but don't. That's why this is easy to recommend.
