This is a cool water toy. The remote works well and is also waterproof. The dolphin automatically turns on when placed in water. You have to undo a little screw to charge the battery, but it's not that big of a deal. So far we've only charged it once. It's a little hard to use in a bathtub due to space constraints, but we took it to the pool for a birthday party and it was the hit of the group. Everyone wanted a turn playing with it. The kids were a bit rough and at one point the tail came off, but it was a super easy fix to snap back into place. Otherwise it survived all the rough play you could imagine from a group of 7 year olds. We are very happy with this toy. It's super fun.

Great my grandson loved it

It looks great, but I still don't have it working after screwing around with it yesterday. There are poor fitting parts. I still haven't been able to charge the battery. The connector keeps popping off. Will try again tomorrow, But if I don't get it working I will be sending it back.

The dolphin looked cute, but the tail moves side to side like a shark, not a dolphin. It would pause in the water and was a little hard to steer around, took some getting used to. Battery life seemed decent. Price was good.

This majestic shark-dolphin hybrid is the terror of our inflatable pool. It stalks the floating chlorine dispenser with silent fury and has declared war on my toes. The kids are obsessed with it. It's fast, agile, and just menacing enough to be hilarious. 10/10 for adding a little danger to our summer.

Bought for our 5 year old friend to drive around in her pool. Easy for her to use, and she loves it. It takes a little bit of effort to put in and take out the batteries which are rechargeable. But, I guess that makes it so it's more waterproof.

Charged the battery with the included adapter. Comes with directions, screwdriver and spare propellers. I used my own larger screwdriver because those tiny screws are pretty snug. This dolphin is very cool! The lense on its back turns blue when it is in the water and it must be in the water to turn operate. It took me a second to figure out when the controller was on, I tried short and long pressing expecting the red light to turn on but that didn’t happen. Here’s how it works; short press and the light will flash meaning it is on and you’re ready to swim with the dolphins. Short press again to turn off. The right control makes it turn left and the left control makes it turn right. I thought I would adapt to this but alas I’m still trying to turn right and having it go left. Frustrating. You may tire of it in 5 minutes but your kids never will.
