This alarm clock replaces one that broke - but this one is better! The other one had a radio and an inductive charger, neither of which worked reliably. This one is just an alarm clock and it is great. It has a small footprint so fits better on the bedside table. It plugs into the mains via a usb lead (lead and plug supplied) but also has a battery backup in the event of power cuts (uses 3 AAA batteries, not supplied). Setting the time is very easy and the instructions are very clear. I prefer the 12 hour display and am/pm is clearly displayed but you could opt for 24 hour display. Pushing another button allows you to choose the colour of the display to suit your eyes, your room or your preference - and there are 4 multicoloured displays if you prefer that. There are 6 levels of brightness so you can select what is right for you. The clock numbers are large enough to read from the other side of the bedroom or without glasses in the middle of the night. Perfect! I hope that it lasts a long time.

This is a perfect little alarm clock with several different colours to choose for the display. If you don’t want a bright light shining out at night, just switch on the night mode and it changes to a dim red between 10pm and 7am. The alarm makes little bleeps which start quietly and get louder. You can snooze for 9 minute repeat alarms or switch it off. The clock was easy to set up and plugs in to the wall socket, with a battery back up. Apart from the alarm, the clock makes no noise.Very pleased with mine and a good price. Very easy to read.

Basic clock but very good, big clear display, easy to set up, various brightness settings and colours are great. If you want a no frills digital clock then look no further

You can program what colour you want it at a given time of day. Low red overnight, bright green during the day. And large digits, so I don't need to grope around for my glasses. And you can power it from the USB where you charge your phone on the bedside table. Perfect.

Buttons on top, so it's easy to get at them. Easy to set. Clear display, including the "alarm is set" icon, even when dimmed.Good dimming options, combined with lots of colour choices, gives lower brightness options for in a bedroom. Lots of the colour choices are static, so nothing is flashing on those. There's a few mixed rainbow colours, should you want a light display.Alarm increases in volume as it rings. Don't use snooze, so can't comment on that. And it did NOT have a mirrored face..... yay...(don't know why that seems to be in fashion, but it's a very common feature).If you ever make this with a dual alarm, please let me know. That's the only thing missing off my wish list, but dimming options were more important.It's small, and lightweight, and obviously plastic, but it is readable, and simple to use. Very pleased with it so far.Cable and plug included.Edited to add, just started using the auto-dim option, where the display dims at 2200, and returns to full brightness at 0700....very useful function.Still extremely pleased with this purchase, a few months on!

Brilliant nice and big and it changes colour

A wonderful clock, easy to set up and choose a colour setting. The night-time dimmer is a great idea.

Had this only 3 months, has been sat on my bedside table, stopped working. Can no longer set the time or the alarm. Waste of money
