I just found this in my queue, and realized I never reviewed it. I got it at least a year ago, and have used it to make some of the best steak and chicken I've ever eaten. The timer/control is a bit weird, but luckily is also optional. I just turn it on early, put my food in there once it's got to temp, and use an external timer to remind me to shut it off and remove the food later. It's never errored out, shut off, or drifted more than 1°F while I've been using it.Thick steak at 127°F for ~75min, then given a quick sear on a screaming hot cast iron pan is amazing. 1-2mm of crispy char, then rose red from edge to edge.

This product worked great for about 1 year. The problem we have is the bottom black plastic broke and started to crumble we suspect due to the hot water it works in. This plastic protects the circulation impeller and won’t work very good without it. We have contacted CISNO multiple times with no response...very sad customer support! Disappointed that this sous vide needs to be thrown away because of a $2.00 part and no customer support. Do not recommend buying CISNO products.

I purchased this last year for my husbands birthday and he absolutely LOVES this!!!It is his GO TO cooking appliance, BUT the bottom fell off about 6 months ago and he doesn’t want to buy another wand as he is afraid it won’t work as well but he’s also stopped using it as often because he is afraid it’s going to break down more.

I've owned this unit for just over a year, and used it perhaps a dozen times. I was happy with it up until this morning when I discovered it had shut down sometime during the night. A close examination revealed that moisture is visible inside the digital display. I believe a seal failed allowing moisture inside the control head, which damaging a connection in the electronics.

I love it, but it is hard for me to set the time.

The fourth time I went to use it turned on, told me the temperature and nothing else worked. I had used it sparingly since I bought it in July 2018. I never dropped it or immersed the handle part in water. Very expensive for 3 uses.

The product is very good. The temperature is consistent, works exactly as advertised. I had an issue with delivery a refund was given immediately, I purchased the product again, no issues at all. The delivery issue was not the fault of cisno yet they promptly refunded my money, outstanding service.
