A great tracing paper that will not tear easily

I use tracing paper a fair bit, for illustrations, as actual pages in signatures in my junk journals, and as backing for collage pieces in art journals. With A4 sheets you’re kind of limited in size, so I jumped at this roll. It’s 30cm wide, so as wide as an A4 is long, and 30m long! So you can cut it to suit your needs.Having said all that - I don’t think this actually IS tracing paper. I’d say it’s white semi-transparent parchement paper. You can absolutely see through it to trace but it’s not tracing paper as I know it. It’s slightly shinier on one side, with the reverse being more matte. It will accept pieces collaged with pritt stick. It’s pretty strong, it can tear, but it’s certainly not as tearable as some parchment papers. I should be able to make journal pages from this nicely.I do actually also on occasion dressmake and pattern cut, and often use plastic sheeting for it. Next time I’ll give this a try as it might be easier to work with.It’s a good addition to the craft cupboard and should last me a good long while.

It seems good quality and all and will probably do the trick for some jobs, but for my job as an artist it is too opaque to try tracing thinner or lighter lines through.

This is a large roll of white tracing paper.Price seems very good for 30 metres at £11 without voucher.This is more like regular paper, not as plasticky feeling as some tracing papers. So very nice for dress-making, for example.Not quite as transparent as some, but will work in most situations. See photo for visibility.Perfect for doing large quantities of tracing.
