The media could not be loaded. I bought this reformer after attending a few reformer pilates classes and falling in love with the practice! I researched several different machines and after weighing all the options, I pulled the trigger on purchasing this one. And I'm so glad I did because it is well worth the price point.The set up is pretty straightforward and simple. It took me about 30 minutes to do it by myself. I liked the idea of the fold away function, but it's a bit more complicated to fold it up. So I have it laid open in our closet room. It has the shoulder adjustments for taller/shorter people and I love the addition of the large footboard, which you can take on or off easily. The padding is decent and enough for me to feel comfortable during my workouts. For reference - I am about110 llbs and 5'2. My husband used this machine and said it felt good for him as well. He is 175 and 5'11. The springs are my favorite part - there are several different spring options and it's so versatile.I have been using it 3x a week for 2 months now and the machine has held up in perfect condition!

I feel it's a true 4.5, but Amazon does not have that as a rating. It's def solid and does everything I was expecting. I was able to set it up myself with some difficulty but it was easy enough. The foldability is not the best but doable.Having said that, this is not going to be the $3000 machines you use in the studios and it does have some noise but not bothersome.For $400 range, this is probably as good of a machine has it can get. I would have gladly paid $200 more for a better quality one/upgraded but from my ( Amazon) research, they are either is $400 range for over $1100 range.Overall, I am happy with the purchase. This is what I would expect from a $400 machine.

The media could not be loaded. I had my eye on this for weeks before finally deciding to give it a try. I use a Stott Pilates Reformer at work, so I’m quite familiar with how it functions. The delivery was prompt, and although the box had a slight dent in one corner, everything inside was intact. Setup took about 20 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The cords and springs provide a great range of resistance, and the track glides smoothly. The foot bar adjusts effortlessly, and the foot platform slides in and out with ease. The shoulder rests feel a bit wide for me, but I plan to modify them for a better fit. The straps are well-designed with two grip areas and don’t slip from my hands or feet. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase—it’s perfect for my personal use! For reference, I’m 5’9”.

Amazing Reformer! I was initially skeptical, but this reformer is great quality. I’ve used it for over three months now about 3 to 4 times a week. It’s extremely sturdy and was easy to build. I really appreciate being able to do Pilates in the comfort of my own home I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing!

**update** They sent me a new rope which is great but it is a different length than the other rope. Also, ab exercises are impossible on this because it is too short. I'm not crazy tall or anything, I'm only 5'7" which is average in my country. Definitely do not get this if you're taller than that! I'm still thinking of returning it. 300$ is a lot for all of these issues and being unable to do a whole set of exercises.**So while 300$ is very cheap for a pilates reformer, it is still a lot of money for something that doesn't work! The reformer I received was put together poorly. It's grinds when it slides and little metal shavings come off it every time I use it. I can see on the bottom exactly what is scraping but it's not something I can fix myself as the tool required is unfamiliar to me. Despite the grinding and metal shavings, I wanted to be a good sport and give it a chance but after using it for 10 minutes the handle snapped off the rope!Disappointed ☹️

Very good machine. Smooth movement and stable. Excellent resistance, the bands and springs allow a large range of adjustment.It is very heavy. The video instructions on how to fold up the machine make it look easy. And it would be if the machine was floating in the air like the video.The reason I didn’t give five stars is the shoulder pads are awful. They dig into your shoulders when doing leg work. I had to add “dogbone” pillows made for car head rests. Works but not pretty.

The media could not be loaded. I have never taken a class but have enjoyed mat pilates at home and was really interested in trying reformer pilates. No classes near me so I thought this was worth just buying instead of traveling to take a class first. As a beginner it's been great for me and I haven't even used every function after using it 6 days a week for several months. I've enjoyed the endless variability in the workouts. This machine was easy to set up, easy for me to move around my crowded basement and can be folded for storage. It was a great value and I'm impressed with it's stability. I'm 5'4" and about 125lbs and my husband is 6'4" and 230lbs and we can both use this machine. I really enjoy it most for doing core which is something I usually hate but this makes it fun. I do mostly strength training but this uses different muscles while still being challenging.
