Essential and inspiring
Richly illustrated and beautifully produced summary of the finest Scandinavian design from the early twentieth century to the present day. From the Series 7 chair to Lego, from Tapio Wirkkala glassware to early Ikea, the book presents a comprehensive survey across all disciplines telling the story of both design classics and everyday objects. The writing, by some of the leading experts in the field, is concise, accessible and insightful. The book itself is an exemplary piece of design with top-notch paper, printing and binding. This is essential and inspiring reference material for anyone interested in modern design.

A big volume of mid-century Scandinavian design
I use this as a reference to furniture, pottery and glassware. It's a large heavy volume and very nice to dip into to learn about scandal design.

Beautiful Book
I bought this as a present for a friend of mine who loves Scandinavian design. It is of very high quality and very comprehensive. Excellent value for money too. Makes a truly impressive gift. Even better buy one for yourself!

Design student? One for you
Absolutely amazing book. I’m a Year 12 design student and found this book enormously useful for my A Levels but would also be fantastic for GCSE students and I’m sure university students as well. Can’t recommend enough, beautiful book.
