Never heard of Satechi, I see they are based in California, I liked that. They have a track record -- plus they are meeting global high quality standards and certifications. To me this means that they are not cutting corners or using cheap materials where the customer wouldn't know. Using cheap materials can affect the longevity and proper charging of your devices in the long-run. This item is foldable. When folded it is 3.5" wide x 6" long x 1" deep or thick. The cord is over 3' long at 42.5" and the puck or plug is 2.25" x 2.5" x 1". The entire thing weighs 0.8 pounds. With this one purchase, I now have an uncluttered desktop charging my three Apple devices that looks fantastic -- the faux leather resting place for AirPods is a really nice touch and aids in noise reduction (placing the AirPods down, anything falling on the pad). I appears there is minimal plastic used, it's mostly metal. The top part that holds the iPhone rotates up and down for getting different angles. The phone attaches either vertical or horizontal. I use my phone constantly while I work, this charging station is heavy enough that I can use my phone (playing music, or looking up stuff) and it doesn't fall off. But I can remove my phone with one hand without the whole thing falling over. Like I said with this one purchase I have a permanent desktop charging station AND I have a great travel charging station. I love that efficiency.

I wanted a charger I could keep by the bed and take with me when I travel. This is not the smallest, but it does fold well. The hinges and build quality are solid. The materials are nice and hold up well. I have been using mine for about a year. I liked it so much we ended up buying a couple more for my wife and son. And the best feature of all – THE LIGHT ON THE BASE IS SMALL AND DIM so it won’t keep you awake. This does not come with a brick, just a USB cable. I have found this pairs nicely with the Anker Nano Charger, USB C GaN Charger 30W, PIQ 3.0 Foldable PPS Fast Charger. One other thing to be aware of, sometimes the charger light does not come on. If this happens to you, flip the USB plug at the base 180 degrees and it will work. No idea why.

I was looking for a two-in-one charger for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and my AirPod Pros. The Satechi charging stand would have been perfect except for one major problem - overheating. I really wanted to keep it, but the head of the charging station gets very hot, causing my phone to get hot as well. I can't imagine this being good for the phone. The Satechi charging stand is very well made and looks quite nice. It's solid, the head can be tilted. The stand can be folded flat for travel. It comes with an approximately 3 feet cable, but no adapter. I used an apple 20 watt iPhone adapter, and even swapped out the cable that came with Satechi for my iPhone 16 Pro Max's cable, but the head still got hot. I then ordered another Satechi cable to see if that would make a difference, but it did not. The charging station and my phone both got very hot. I ordered Anker's MagGo Wireless 2-in-1 Qi charging stand, also 15W fast charging, and my 16 Pro Max did not get hot. There was no issue at all. I also tried a 3rd MagSafe, 15W fast charging stand by EXW, and it did not get hot either. So the issue is Satechi.

I own two of these. They are pricey, but the unit charges my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods easily. The magnet holds the phone very securely. The display of the phone can easily be rotated and tilted. The unit feels very sturdy, and looks very modern and refined.

First one didn’t charge, replacement didn’t either until I tried a different power cube, the second cube worked. Need to make sure you try the right combination.

Purchased Sept 2 and has now stopped charging phone and watch. Have contacted company support for warranty , let's see if they help. Device worked great for a short time. 2/24/25 - tech support responded immediately and worked with me. Sent prepaid shipping label, will send back. 2 year manufacturer warranty so very happy with the quick response. 3/17/25 - after I sent item back I received a brand new replacement. Excellent customer support.

I already owned the 3 in 1 charger from 12 South that can simultaneously charge an iPhone, iPod case, and Apple Watch. It's a great charger and works great as a bedside stand, able to be used in Standby mode. However, the iPhone MagSafe charger is non-movable, making it less than ideal as a travel charger. I bought this Satechi charger recently and it works great as a bedside charger, especially for travel because it collapses flat by design. It has universal USB-C connectivity. It has Qi2 15W MagSafe charging for iPhone, a base for iPods, and a foldout magnetic charger for the Apple Watch, all neatly assembled into a single unit. I took in on a recent international trip and it worked great. I have no complaints and am so far, very pleased with the purchase.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I was initially impressed with the quality, materials & function of the charger, but after only 2 weeks of occasional use it has stopped working entirely. The only part that feels cheaply made is the charging brick, so it seems that might be where the problem is occurring. Other reviewers have noted the same issue. I've replaced it under Amazon's return policy, but I no longer have much faith in this product.

Like all satechi devices, it is solid and well designed. The magnet will hold the phone well in landscape or portrait mode allowing the "alarm clock" mode to work as long as the case is not too thick. Its heavy weight makes it very stable. It will charge Airpods and Apple Watch at the same time and fold conveniently for transport.
