Easy and fun educational for kids.
Super awesome to educate 3 year old on basic circuits. Also my 18 month old figured out to disconnect and reconnect the wires to make the light come on. Amazing that kids can figure out things at such a young age

Good quality and fun
My 10 year old grandson loved it. He doesn't seem to have the patience to read the directions yet but he enjoyed making things anyway.

My 8 year old nerdy grandson loves this
My 8 year old nerdy grandson loves this. We are a bit over half way through and he has spent hours with it. The components for the circuits seem to be high quality. There have been a few negatives. * I think to call it over 120 circuits is an exaggeration, many of them a very similar. * There has been a couple circuits that didn't seem to work as shown. * Conceptually the wires between the component are viewed a single wire (positive or negative). But in reality there are two wires inside that can carry both. This occasionally leads to odd results, like a motor spins even though only one wire is attached.

Equal parts learning & fun
We love the set! This made electricity just click for him. Lots of parts and combinations, even a bit of color theory in there with the lights

Opens the imagination for kids over 8 years old
My 10 year old grandson loves things like this and he sure does enjoy this set. It does need batteries; which I must have missed that in the description. Hours of fun and it's safe for kids experimenting

Immediately engaged my grandson
I gave this to my 7 year old grandson for Christmas, and it was a hit. For the most part, it is reasonably intuitive to assemble circuits. There are a few things that require reference to the instructions or are easier to figure out using the instructions. The instruction/information pamphlet included was not lengthy or hard to understand, but my grandson did not have time for them and wanted to dive right in. With some help from me, he soon had a couple of circuits working and experimented with others. I was surprised when he insisted on taking his circuits to a big New Years Eve neighborhood party where he showed it off to other kids who enjoyed playing with it. It is worth noting that the parts seem pretty rugged and withstood all the unsupervised handling without a problem. I would recommend this for 7 to 10 year olds, based on my experience. It is a good value. It doesn't have a bunch of small parts to be scattered about and lost. It is rugged and doesn't require a lot of concern for safety.

Cool Kit for a Kid hungry for knowledge.
At my church they were having a toys for kids donation thing going. I asked the guy who was organizing it if it was OK if I found a couple of STEM kits or toys to toss in there. He got excited and enthusiastically said they needed a lot more of those. I was excited because, when I was a kid, I was kind of a nerd and my favorite thing to get was some sort of electronics experimenter kit. I would hide out in my room for hours on end enthralled by all the amazing experiments. The thought of some young person with a hunger for knowledge like I was getting excited about it and that got me excited. I ended up buying several different ones. But this one tempted me to rip it open and play with it. I didn't. But it was highly rated and I pray it made some young kid happy.
