I love these strainers so much! I use them with my small Toddy cold brew maker and they fit perfectly. They hole the 5 cups of ground perfectly. They also block any coffee grounds from falling through too keep the cold brew smooth. They’re easy to clean and save so much money over having to purchase paper filters.

Update: 30 Jan 2020. Best buy ever! We've used reusable cheese bags for other filtration purposes but never thought to use it for cold brew until we got tired of clogged filters. This brand was the only one we could find that fit the Toddy Cold Brew just right. And its good, really good. It does the filtration in a a little more than a minute with hardly any residue at the bottom of the Toddy or clogged filters. We still use the filter at the bottom of the Toddy to give double; its also a habit. We use the bag about 3 times in a fortnight to make coffee. The bag can be emptied and is easy to clean. We use Dawn dish washing soap to hand rinse the bag . We also rinse it in vinegar before final wash in water, as that helps rid some of the staining. The bag does become a slightly darker shade from repeated use, but dos not affect quality or usability. (Prev)Disclaimer: it's only our first use, so cannot tell how durable it will be. We have been using the Toddy Cold brew system for a long time for our coffee, and the most frustrating thing was the filter which seemed to clog and the drip took a LOOOONG time. Also, cleaning the filter was no fun. It never felt clean enough. Came across this looking for a good quality cheesecloth/ meshbag of the size that fits into the Toddy system. Great buy. It fits perfectly into the Toddy lining it ,(first fix the stop and the filter). Follow Toddy process to brew coffee/ tea and drain by opening the stop. I loosely tied the drawstring just because it was there. No dregs, the coffee literally pours out and you have it bottled and chilling in a few minutes. Empty the bag, wash in warm water with Dawn soap and let dry. Voila, ready for next use. Cleaning the Toddy is also easier. It is also a great sustainable and cheaper option than single use filter bags. Before first use wash in warm water and dry.

These bags are exactly what I have been looking for! I make cold brew year round and have used inferior bags in the past that have either worn out quickly due to use and washing or have had too loose of a knit and let a lot of sediments and sludge into the brew. These are better than perfect! The bags are lightweight, but but sturdy and large enough to hold over a pound of coffee grounds. The material is a very tight weave, so the only thing that gets through the bag is delicious, smooth coffee. I like that the bags are easy to clean by just flipping inside out to rise and then hang drying. I also like that the edges are serged together, so there is no fraying at the seams. These are high quality bags that have already seen many months worth of daily use and they are still going strong. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend these bags, if they ever wear out, I will definitely buy them again.

I liked this a lot more than I expected to. It holds the coffee grinds in well and washes very easily. It doesn’t leak, and after several uses, it has held together very well. After I use it, I rinse it out really well, then soak it in vinegar and water for about a half hour. Then I rinse it well and let it air dry. So simple, and no toxic chemicals!

I NEVER leave reviews but I am in this case because these coffee bags are incredible. I've made the best cold brew with ease. They are super easy to clean. I have not had one single spec of coffee ground mix into the tea! I use a strainer however I don't think it's necessary. Anyways, love these coffee filters. They have held up perfectly over the last couple years.

Hands down, perhaps the best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. So simple but works so well. I’ve used expensive cold brew makers that stopped filtering right after only a few months of use. I love the intense flavor of cold brew but filtering the stuff is always a pain in my rear. These bags have solved everything. I recommend measuring your desired amount of coffee grounds into the bag on a kitchen scale, then place them in a square type Rubbermaid container that holds five or more cups of water depending on amount you want to make. I like using square versus jar or pitcher containers for this product because after cinching the top it won’t be leak proof but if you let the cinched bag top just kinda float right at water line while rest of bag is basically submerged, no grounds at all will be in your final product. Also I use a higher grounds to water ratio as I like to make concentrate and then water it down slightly before drinking. So easy to squeeze rest of bag into the cold brew the next day (with clean hands of course) so you get all the goodness out. Then empty bag into trash. Rinse out remaining grounds with warm/hot water in the sink. And it’s ready to air dry or go again immediately. Ratios of grounds to water and brew times are easy to find online. Just buy this already and make better coffee than you could ever get at the chains for cheap!!

Much more economical and less wasteful than paper filters. Work perfectly. Easy to wash and reuse.

I can't speak for different qualities of bags as this is the only one I've tried but it worked flawlessly first time, coffee came out silky smooth and cleanup was surprisingly easy, tip the majority of the grounds out and rinse the rest off from both sides of the fabric

I've been making cold brew a long time and tried a number of ways. This is by far the best way to make it, it's not messy, and there's no sludge at the bottom so no waste. It's easy to put together and easy to take apart and clean. Love this!!
