I'm happy with it, so far!
After hours of research and days of pondering, I ended up buying the A1 version of this scooter and it arrived 5 days ago. I bought it to replace my former scooter, which lasted me 10 years. The 1st thing I noticed was the handlebars were higher than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Any adult will be comfortable with them. The little display on the handlebars is pretty cool. It shows the "mode", speed and battery level, which are all I care about. It comes with a screen protector installed that was annoying to me because it wasn't long before it looked like it was coming loose around the edges. At first, I thought it was just the flimsy clear plastic film that I peeled off the headlight. But, after trying to take it off for a few minutes with no success, I finally took a razorblade to it. It was actually still holding on pretty well, even though it looked like it had lost adhesion. It turned out to be pretty thick, like a smartphone screen protector. But it came right off and left no residue behind. I'm sure it would stay on for awhile if I'd left it alone, but the look of it was annoying to me. If you don't mind the appearance, you can leave it on there for protection. The Bluetooth smartphone interface is also cool and has some useful info. In it, I can see how far I've ridden today, how many miles I've put on it overall and the specific battery power remaining (i.e. 82%, vs the 1-5 bars on the scooter's handlebar display). It also has a few settings you can change, like the "mode" (slow, medium, fast, basically) and you can turn on/off the lights and cruise control. You can also choose the startup method (kick to start on/off). The app you need is called "Tuya Smart". It works great. The width of the deck was a bit disappointing to me. I wear a size 12 shoe and I wished the deck was a bit wider, but it turned out to work just fine. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if it were 2" wider, but it's not a show stopping issue for me.I've ridden it for 20-30 minutes per day for the past 5 days. The 1st thing I noticed when I got on it was it felt a bit...unwieldy. I suppose it's no different than other scooters of this style, but my last scooter felt more stable, so this was a surprise to me. That's because my old one had wider, taller wheels and air-filled tires. But, it was also 3 times the price of this one. After about 30 minutes on it, I felt much more comfortable with it, so it turned out to be ok. I can zip around on it just fine now.One reason I chose this scooter was the hard tires. For some reason, my car and my old scooter keep picking up nails in the tires. Roofing nails. I guess a number of the folks in my neighborhood had recent roof work done. Airing up the little tires was a hassle since the wheels are small, the valve stems are small, there's wires and brakes and suspension...so the valve stem has to be in a certain spot in order to access it. Plus, changing the inner tubes was way more of a hassle than working with a bicycle's tires. I just didn't want to deal with air-filled tires any more. The ride is a bit bumpier at times with hard tires, but I feel it's a good trade-off for me.The suspension on this one does work great, but, due to the hard tires, I still feel a lot of bumps in the road and all of the expansion joints in the sidewalks. Again, not a show stopping issue as I've gotten used to it, so now I only notice it on rougher surfaces that last for more than a few seconds (Like yesterday when I happened upon a brick sidewalk, sheesh!).My last scooter was 48v 1000w, so the specs on this one concerned me a bit. I'm 6' 1" tall and 210 lbs, so I expected to not see the listed performance from this scooter. But, I was pleasantly surprised to see the speedo at 22mph while riding it. I'm not sure if it will go slower when the battery is low on power, but I've had it down to 25% and it still did 22mph. On about a 15 degree incline, it only dropped to 15 mph. When I started up that same hill from a dead stop, it still reached 12mph and got up the hill with no problem, which was impressive to me. It actually outperforms my old scooter. As for range, it looks to be about 15-16 miles for me. This was expected, due to my size and the hills around my neighborhood. The headlight is very bright. It's great for making me visible to others and it provides enough light at night to see what's in front of me, giving me time to stop or avoid obstacles as needed. There's also a bell, which has been handy a couple of times.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive scooter. The only caveat I would add is if you live in an area where you don't have issues with punctures, I would opt for a scooter with wider, air-filled tires. It would give you a smoother, more stable ride.By the way, if I have any issues with the scooter at all, I will update this review. So if you're reading this and I haven't mentioned any issues...rest assured no issues have come up. Cheers!

Nice Budget Choice
Was looking for a scooter for short distance commute (1.2 miles), I’m roughly 200 lbs, 6’1”. New to the market, i know the price range is 150-1000, a lot of fancy features, like RGB light, suspension, etc. I just want something for my parking to office. So I picked this one.Used over this weekend, so far no issues, does its job, low noise, ECO mode 10 mph, easy to use, sometimes I even put my 3 yo boy on it and have a fun trip.Manufacturing perspective (I’m a mechanical person): looks sturdy so far, all rubber looks ok, battery life is fine (used for 2 miles, still 80%).Only issue is the cheap screw, tools; they put something like loctite (prevents bolts getting loose), and threads are not great, so I striped 1 screw (you need 4 but they gave you 6 for a reason); the app is mediocre, i don’t use it often since I only use it at home.I will come back update this if I run into anything.

Powerful, Smooth Ride with Impressive Range!
The Alloweek R1 electric scooter has far exceeded my expectations. The 500W motor delivers strong acceleration and easily handles hills, while the top speed of 22 mph is perfect for commuting or just zipping around town. I went with the 28-mile battery option and it’s been incredibly reliable for multiple trips between charges. The dual suspension really makes a difference on rough roads—it’s a much smoother and more stable ride compared to other scooters I’ve used. The solid tires (I got the 10" version) give me peace of mind with no risk of flats, and the dual braking system is responsive and safe.Folds up quickly and fits easily in my trunk. Great for daily commuting, campus use, or fun weekend rides. Sturdy, well-built, and well worth the price!

Disappointing Experience – Not As Advertised
I really want to like this scooter, but unfortunately, the overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. The scooter will not reconnect to Bluetooth after the initial setup, no matter how many times I power off/on the device or reinstall the app. This makes features like locking and tracking useless. The ride quality is very poor. Despite advertising 10-inch tires and a smooth ride, the scooter I received had 8.5-inch tires and has no suspension whatsoever. Even small bumps in the road make for an uncomfortable experience. It also struggles with even modest inclines — forget about climbing anything close to 15%.I contacted customer service for help, but instead of offering solutions, they were dismissive and blamed me for using the “wrong app,” even though I was using the one listed in the manual. Their tone came off as condescending, and their responses focused on returning it rather than actually helping. Here’s a direct quote from their support:"You can't connect to Bluetooth because you downloaded the wrong APP... The scooter you bought is 8.5 inches, model R1. If you want 10 inches, return and reselect... The 10% discount is exclusive to fans..."At the end of the day, the product didn’t match the advertised specs or performance, and the support experience is horrendous. What am I supposed to “understand”? That I paid for a misrepresented product and was then dismissed by support? I wouldn’t recommend this scooter unless some major improvements are made to both the hardware and customer service. No one should be belittled for asking for help, and the tone of customer support is completely condescending.

Kid tried and approved!
I was a bit nervous about purchasing an electric scooter for my son, but this has been a fantastic little device. We have had it for four weeks now and my son absolutely loves this scooter. It will go 21MPH (38KMH) no doubt and it has fantastic batter life. I love the solid tires so we do not need to worry about flats. It is very fun to ride, it has been very reliable thus far, and the value is in my opinion hard to beat.
