I bought them on a recommendation but I didn't need them as much as I thought. I think I used them twice.

These silver nipple plates have been one of the best postpartum purchases I’ve made. As a breastfeeding mum, I was struggling with sore, cracked nipples, and nothing was really helping — until I tried these. They’re made of pure silver, which is naturally antimicrobial and healing, and they’ve made a huge difference. I wear them between nursing sessions and have noticed significantly less pain, faster healing, and no need for ointments or creams. Just a little breast milk inside the cups and that’s it — so simple and effective. They’re comfortable to wear, discreet under a bra, and easy to clean. I also love that they’re reusable, so they’ve more than paid for themselves compared to buying creams or disposable pads over and over again. If you’re a new mum dealing with nipple soreness or just want to prevent damage while breastfeeding, I can’t recommend these enough. They’re worth every penny and truly a game-changer for the breastfeeding journey.

My sisters in law all recommended these so I decided to give them a try. When I first started nursing, my nipples felt raw and boobs we’re in pain. I tried creams but worried about the things I was seeing regarding babies ingesting lanolin so I got serious about using these. These are super durable and definitely worth the money! All they need are a few drops of breastmilk and then you can wear them between feedings. Worked great for me. The only downside is that if you wear them, they do poke out under clothes and look a little odd.

I usually don’t leave reviews on Amazon but when I was pregnant I was trying to find good nipple shields that weren’t as expensive as the original silverettes and now that my baby is 6 days old and I’ve been breast feeding I can say I made the right choice with these!! My boy has been cluster feeding the last couple days and I started to notice some nipple soreness. I was wearing these between every feed in the hospital but then started alternating between these & nipple creams once home (when you use these don’t also use nipple cream, just pop them on with a little breast milk). When I started to notice the soreness I tried using lanolin cream thinking it would be better but I was still having pain, popped these guys on between a 4 hour session and my nipple is brand new!! I’ll be wearing them now between every feed from here on out :) they truly work!!
