This is a really good quality downlight that comes with three magnetically secured interchangeable bezels; white, brushed steel and polished chrome, so you should have no trouble matching your decor.There are four colour temperature settings and two power settings which are adjusted via switches beneath the bezel, so accessible once fitted. If you already know what colour temperature and brightness you require these will be largely superfluous and are certainly too awkward to be changing frequently once in use, however I have in the past after fitting bulbs found myself wishing they were either warmer or cooler so this is a great option to ensure you get a final result you are happy with.The wire connector block quite sensibly separates from the transformer unit meaning you can connect the wiring without having to hold everything dangling whilst you work. I’m not a great fan of the very small tool-less push terminals as they are quite awkward to operate individually and ensure a tight connection. At least two rows are provided so if you have a chain of lights you don’t need to squeeze two wires into each terminal.Most importantly this downlight is fire rated which is an absolute must when fitting into ceilings, technically this isn’t required on the top floor of a property but still strongly recommended.The only real downside of this light is the fact the light source is built in so no option to replace just a bulb when the LEDs fail or the brightness degradation over time - something almost no LED manufacturers tell their customers about but is a very real issue - becomes a problem the whole unit has to be removed which is rather wasteful.

We have had Bright Source All-In-One downlights installed for a number of years now - probably 30 units in total in our household.We have found them to be one of the best and most versatile downlights we've ever had.Simply put:• They are compact (don't occupy much room above the ceiling).• Optional brightness (8W or 10W switchable).• 4 different colour temprature switch (Extra Warm White / Warm white / Cool White / Daylight) - [older versions only had 3 different temperatures].• 3 different magnetic cover plates (White / Chrome metal/ Brushed metal).• Dimmable.Note: These units have a built in bulb. If the LED bulb fails, there is no alternative other than to replace the entire downlight. This was a concern of mine at the beginning - but we've had some of these installed for over five years and not one single failure (so far).The only surprise with this latest version is that the light appears to no longer have an optional protective grill included in the package.Previous versions (see my photo of an older model hanging from the ceiling) had a perforated metal U-shape grill that you could choose to clip on to the rear (top) of the light unit. This served to provide a void between the light casing and any insulation you may have in the ceiling - allowing for better heat dissipation. Not sure why they took away that feature.For this reason only, I've knocked off one star - but bare in mind, this is not a feature found on the majority of other downlights anyway.In terms of price, @ current price of just over £21 per downlight... they are significantly higher than what I recall last paying for them. However, shoparound! You might be able to get them over £4 less elsewhere.

Easy changing by removing the bezel.The LED downlight has a very sleek and modern design with easy installation that is built to be long lasting and durable build with the actual light source being tilted to just where required. The LED bulb us built in and cannot be replaced.Quality built products and long lasting light. IP 65 rated protection as well as fire rated to BS476-21 30/60/90 minutes.This is an overall excellent LED downlight with switchable wattage and colour output that produces excellent light where you need it and how you like it in your home.
