Fantastic lock…easy, easy, easy is the word of the day
This lock is great. I really like it, and I feel secure using it — which is to say that it functions exactly as I had hoped and expected it to. The fingerprint reader reads very quickly and hasn’t rejected my print once yet. It’s built pretty sturdy, and I think it’ll last a while. It was super simple to install and just as easy to set up. It’s also easy to use and seems to be easy on batteries. I’m always hesitant to talk about battery life on something that uses batteries rather than having a battery built in, bc brand and chemical composition will make your mileage vary. But it seems to “sip” on the batteries, if you will. There’s no connectivity of this lock to your smart home, so don’t expect Alexa or Google Home to see it or “make it go”. I love my Alexa and the myriad of things I connect to her (I love IoT), but I really don’t need to verbally tell her to lock or unlock doors. Besides, to me, that’s a security risk — even in locks with the ability to do this and locks with PIN codes — if someone knows your code, they could just say it loud enough from outside for your smart home device to hear, and open right up, which might get you burglarized…or worse. Anyhow, it’s a fantastic lock, and it hasn’t failed me yet. I give it 5/5 stars.

So Far, So GREAT!
I have only had this lock for about a week now, but so far it has been the best smart lock we've had! The previous one we had died quite frequently and I was changing the batteries in it 1-2 times a month...4 AAA batteries a month is insane! So I bought another "high end" brand to replace it and it was just the WORST. So here we are lock #3 and I finally feel some satisfaction!-Installation is EXTREMELY easy and fast!-The battery life seems to be pretty good, but I will update if that changes.-App setup is easy and the app functions well-The lock itself looks sleek and modern-The lock responds pretty fast any way you unlock itI love this lock so far, hoping it holds up to the test of time!! Again, I will update if anything changes!

Almost perfect
The media could not be loaded. It’s elegant, quiet and fast, and the quality lock can be locked and unlocked by a key, code, remote app, and fingerprint. It’s a name brand even though it’s not known for locks, but no one assumes this is going to be some cheap easy to break lock. The hardware is excellent. Easy to install too. I also love that I can give temporary codes to people who work at the house or guests. I can revoke those codes through the app if I want to. Replaced a 5 year old electronic Schlage lock that was lame and unreliable. The nice animation of electronic lights you see in the product video doesn’t exist in real life, it’s disappointing but not a deal breaker. I would’ve bought it either way, but I am annoyed when something is presented to me that’s not actually in the product. My main complaint is that sometimes it take me a while for it to get a fingerprint to work and I need to switch finger after finger and reposition. Your finger and the reader must be dry and dry skin will make this harder. This becomes a significant issue when it’s cold. Eventually, it goes into lockdown and you cannot even use the keypad, which is really annoying if you have the right code.Putting this in proportion, fingerprint is by far the easiest way to open this quickly and for the most part it does work well. A tip: don’t lock with a fingertip but just wake up the keypad and press the checkmark icon.

Great product, no issue yet (will update)
It took a a while to set everything up but it was super easy, barely an inconvenience.Things to consider:1. You will need the wifi hub (Looks like an outlet) for the smart features to work with Google or Alexa.2. Once you sync your Philips account to you Google or Amazon account you will have to use the pin found under the voice settings (you can change this)The installation was easy, it looks great, and easy to see in the even in the sun.

Does it All
Multiple ways (key, combinations, fingerprint, and via WiFi using app) to unlock your door. Battery level indicator. Well-made and well thought-out. If you want a top-of-the-line electronic lock, this is the one.

Super Lock
Second keyless entry lock I have had. First one, not Phillips, was terrible, never worked right. This one is great. So simple to use. Love it.

It just works. The app, the device, voice control…
This Phillips biometric door lock is engineered and designed pretty well. Installation was a breeze and the install directions were clear and easy. The app is simple and easy to use. Lots of components to this and it all works seamlessly, each and every time. I HIGHLY recommend this lock

Hard pass
With all the positive reviews I figured I picked a winner. I was wrong. The good:When it works, it’s very convenient. The fingerprint scanner works; key number entry works. I like the fact that the key hole is hidden behind the fingerprint reader-it looks nice. Installation of the hardware on the door is pretty straight forward if you’re handy. That it generally works as expected when all things are good is why I didn’t give it 1 star. The so-so:I’ve been a software engineer for 30 years. The software is not especially intuitive. It’s slow. It has animations to try to make it cute, but are just a waste of time. The bad:Batteries. especially in cold weather, lastmaybe 3 weeks. Replacing 4 AA batteries at least once a month gets expensive. If it rains on the fingerprint scanner, it more than likely won’t scan correctly.I’ve owned this less than a year and had to hard reset it/set it up again, at least 3 times. The fingerprint scanner will just stop working until its reset. The ugly:I’ve found it gets out of sync, where the app thinks the door is locked and it isn’t or vice-versa. That’s really bad—I can’t even trust the app to give me accurate status when I’m not home?!Conclusion:I love the convenience of a fingerprint scanner for my door. I will get another one (different brand.) But there are enough problems with this one that the next one will be a different brand.Don’t recommend.
