I was looking for a dark colored freezer chest to match the cabinetry in our garage. This Frigidaire looked perfect but the mostly negative reviews citing shipping damage had me nervous. We live in the middle of nowhere so I figured I would ultimately be disappointed but I could not find anything else I liked. While the box had some holes and the tracking revealed the freezer had gone on quite the journey, I was extremely pleased to find it was without even a scratch. I love the rugged exterior, which should keep it free from most scratching. The exterior is not any thinker than a standard fridge so it is likely just as susceptible to dents and dings. Performance has been great so far. If you are feeling lucky, it was worth the roll of the dice.

Delivered on time and handled with extremel care, perfect fix in its space and and storage size I needed, temperature control perfect and noise less.

I ordered this freezer for my little rental. It came nicely packaged and was in great condition. My rental just didn't have enough space in the fridge. This unit fits perfectly in a corner of the garage. My renter LOVES it! And bonus, you can switch the temperature from freezer to fridge! Didn't see that part, so I'm double happy with it!

Frigidaire Chest Freezer. Arrived in perfect condition and on schedule. It runs quietly and it looks nice and blends well with my other black kitchen appliances. After applying power to the empty unit, the unit cooled down to -1 degrees F within two hours. I fully loaded product into the freezer and it slowly reduced the internal temperature to 9 degrees F over the next 12 hours . It eventually reduced to 2 degrees F at the factory default thermostat setting and maintained that temperature after 24 hours. Only two minor complaints: 1) The internal walls of the case are very thin aluminum which dent very easily when moving hard frozen food around, so care is required to prevent denting. Small dents inside do not affect functionality. 2) The control module on the bottom right side has a green power light and a blue compressor running light. I have only seen the blue light twice in 4 weeks, but I know the compressor runs or it wouldn't get cold. I am not sure why the blue light only came on two times, but it does not appear to affect functionality. So far I am satisfied with the performance.

Quite and looks great

This is perfect. Delivered as promised to my front door. Perfect size holds a lot. I bought freezer baskets to make it easier to get to bottom. The freezer is deep. Nice basket sits across top that comes with it. Perfect for pa pages of Bacon and small items. Very happy with this purchase.

Received with multiple dents inn main exterior and lid, I should have read all the reviews about receiving unit damaged
