Delicious!
It tastes so real! The texture is so great. I couldn’t tell it’s an imitation caviar! I liked it the most when I spread it over butter or mayo. It’s a win in my family.

Missing the Ocean/seaweed flavor & mushy - Prop use ONLY **READ-NO RETURNS**
I ordered this because I was given Cavi-Art last year and LOVED!!!! Cavi-Art is AMAZING..it is like Seaweed tapioca. So I was excited to try this as I though it might be the same but orange in color. NO, NO...with a side order of NOPE! It had no flavor and mushes in your mouth. Two key things missing: 1. The flavor of the ocean (which was re-created with seaweed Caviart) is missing here. This one kinda tasted like puff wheat cereal. 2. The texture also takes you out of the enjoyment. Again with Caviart the seaweed tapioca-like peals pop in your mouth. This was more like cream of wheat mush. The 1 star I would give is that it "looks" like caviar. So, if you need a prop for a set and your actors HATE all things fish and ocean flavored...this is perfect. But it you like the taste of the ocean and seaweed, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. ****Also- YOU CAN'T RETURN - BUYER BEWARE****. Just get Caviart~!

A Fine Affordable Vegan/Kosher Caviar Alternative
See my previous review of Pacific Secrets imitation black caviar. The red caviar is visually very attractive – a pale, translucent, orange-red that resembles trout caviar. Like the black caviar it’s quite salty on its own but that seems less noticeable if sitting on top of a dollop of sour cream. There is a noticeable bitter aftertaste, again on its own, that I didn’t notice in the black caviar. My previous comments about the black caviar apply here: this would be a better product if it were a bit less salty and had a bit more maritime flavor. As it is currently, though, this would be particularly useful as a topping/garnish for other dishes, like a fish mousse (vegan or otherwise). Understanding that this is not real caviar and its current limitations this is still a fine alternative with many obvious culinary uses. Congratulations to Pacific Secrets, which I hope will continue to continue tweaking and improving its product so it’s virtually indistinguishable from the “real” thing!

Great For Vegans, I Guess?
It looks just like salmon caviar. Use it with faux butter on a cracker and, if you're vegan, you may be satisfied. Personally, I was not enamored with the taste. I bought it to serve vegan guests at a cocktail party. They gobbled it, after I showed them the jar's label.

Worst iteration of this product. Wish I could remember the brand I was looking for to recommend x) taste is strange and unsatisfying, not the substitute or alternative experience I wanted.

Vegetarian Red Caviar
This is a good option for vegetarians and vegans who want that caviar experience and it is reasonably priced for what it is. It has that salty effect with that caviar texture. I prefer the black version over this red version, but it is still capable to work with. It's larger pearls than the black version, so it tends to roll off a little bit easier. I recommend pairing it with cream cheese and crackers. The texture of this one isn't as good as the black version either, as it seems that the larger size gives it a less appealing texture and has a little bit of a metallic flavor to it. It's a great option for Christmas, to provide that red contrast on top of a green onion cream cheese.
