Not the same quality leather as the brown.
I had this cover in the brown version for over two years. when it started to die, I wanted the exact same one again. Unfortunately, I could only get the black version. I knew what to expect, so went ahead and ordered through Amazon. When it arrived I honestly thought it was a fake. Unlike the brown version, the black is not soft and just feels cheap. It doesn't have the same smell and frankly looks like cheap leather. Nothing like my previous version. Apart from the leather, it's still a nice style of case which is why it kept 4 starts.
