These are decent little remotes but be warned. Portable AC units are the hardest thing to replace a remote for. The original remotes are hard to find, and when you find them they are expensive. This is what you are left with. The remote worked for 1 of my 3 LG portable AC units. I had to do a code search pressing the code search function about 150 times to find a code that seems to do most of the functions a normal remote should. These have a nice easy to read display and the back light is nice too. Not a bad deal.

The remote feels great in your hand and lights up really wonderfully. You click the buttons gently and it sends a signal over effectively. The problem is none of the instructions actually worked correctly. You have to be a bit intuitive to figure out how to pair this to your AC unit. I guess I was lucky and I paired it but the instructions didn't work at all.

Worked like a charm with my KUL unit which isn’t even listed in the brands. Took a chance, ordered it, used the auto search for the code and it works! Just want to add, that if some functions aren’t working for you, then try a different code. Some brands have multiple codes and if you’re manually entering the code from the list, it might not be the correct one. Try a different code or use the auto search to program your unit until the functions work accordingly.

great remote! work great with my lg a/c just progrm the code for you a/c brand and it will work its very easy . also can be programmed in farheneit or celcius also has a light ..great buy!

Muy buen control, con teclado retroiluminado y números grandes para poder ver bien en la noche. Incluye una pequeña linterna. Las luces del teclado y display del control se descativan automáticamente después de modificar la temperatura. Lo único que le falta es un botón para desactivar el display con el número de temperatura qué se muestra en el evaporador, la luz de ese número molesta en la noche.

This remote control did not work with my Carrier AC at all. I’ve tried all provided codes, yet didn’t work. Very unfortunate

It works. Remote display will say thing but it may not be what the air on is actually doing. There seems to be no hand shake between the remote and the air con unit to say it’s actually changing the temp to Mach the display of the remote. Maybe this is normal for LCD displays in the application. It’s physically much bigger than it needs to be. Otherwise it’s a good remote.

This remote has a lighted background! So much value for the money! Extremely easy to use!
