My son's piano teacher had asked us to get this to follow on from book 1. Lots of lovely 1 page tunes which give a real sense of accomplishment once they can sit down and play them.

It is for my 7-year-old boy, he just begins to learn piano. This book is perfect for him to learn.

The books that Pauline Hall has produced are an excellent introduction to the piano for a young person. The illustrations help a lot, of course, but the way that the new student progresses is logical, intuitive and rewarding. The accompanying piano pieces build cleverly on the tuition and add fun. The series is highly recommended. The fact that my latest addition arrived within 12 hours of ordering was deeply impressive!
