A little goes a LONG WAY.
I got this tea on sale thinking it was stevia sweetened and would make a refreshing iced green tea. Let me tell you about my first foray with this tea. I added a heaping teaspoon of powder onto a 32 oz glass of hot water and added a few shots of stevia liquid. It was darker than I remember green tea being. My first taste and I wanted to gag. The taste was soooooooo bad that I got an instant headache and I almost dumped it down the drain. I am glad I did not. I added more stevia and tried it again. No change whatsoever, still overpowering. Instead, I got a fresh 32 oz glass of ice water and added about 2 ounces of the tea /stevia tar from the original 32oz glass into the fresh one and mixed it up. Wow, the color was a beautiful light green that I expected to see. The flavor was outstanding. I then dumped the rest of the 32oz glass into a 2 gallon pitcher and ended up with 2 gallons of refreshing sweet tea. The directions call for 1/4 tsp. Personally even that much seems like a lot and was way too much. Today, I mix a slightly full teaspoon powder into 2 gallons of water and add the sweetener and it is great! I love this tea now and smells good in the cabinet once you open the package. I paid $8 on Amazon for the bag. I am not sure that I would pay $15. Buy it on sale and try diluting it if you do not like the taste. You may find that the right balance is based on how much water you use. I will say that as HOT tea with sugar, it seems to be better but I still use less powder than recommended. I purchased the mango flavored green tea.

Great instant tea
Opening the bag hits you with a very overpowering peach scent. So much so that the first cup I couldn't taste any peach at all. I was very disappointed. The second cup in, with the scent out of my nose, the peach flavor was very nicely paired with the green tea. I havent been able to stop drinking since I got it. I have even tried it in my coffee and love it. Like it so much that I ordered a few other flavors to try. Just like other reviews have said, the zip top was faulty. Just transferred to a zip lock bag. It also didnt come with a scoop, not sure if it was supposed or not but I had one so no biggie.

Good but very bitter
So this tea is very bitter…yes it taste like raspberry but it’s bitter. I usually drink unsweetened tea but this is strong in the bitter aftertaste.

Super for Iced Tea and Adding to Smoothies
I drink a lot of green tea, and I enjoy varieties with some lemon, so I decided to give this a try. It's definitely a good value for the price--you get a lot of cups from this package! It does blend well, and that's handy because you can make tea with whatever temperature water you wish. That's really great when I'm traveling and don't have quick access to hot enough water. The quality is excellent and the taste is good... but to me, not as good as the stuff I brew myself with a tea bag. Maybe that's because it is a very finely ground powder. This might even make it even more healthy for you since apparently you're drinking the leaf, not just what is steeped from it. But it tastes just a little bitter to me--not off-putting, but not as mild as the traditionally-brewed stuff. I like this stuff a lot, though, especially for making iced tea and for adding a bit of green tea boost (and just a little caffeine) to a smoothie. I would buy it again.

Read reviews before buying!!!
I'm the type of person that will tolerate bitterness up to a certain point; was my think as I read some of the 1 star reviews of this tea. As a avid tea partaker, I've had many assortment of flavored and unsweetened tea that were bitter that a little honey and a hint of cinnamon couldn't fix. But for this pomegranate flavored green tea mix was a different beast that I could not tame. I've tried many methods like the good old milk and honey, lowering the temp of water and even simple sugar. It was either bitter or just too sweet, there was no in-between. So in conclusion, my experience with the pomegranate flavored green tea mix was just too bitter that anything I would add could fix the taste. No hint of pomegranate, the size was ok for the price and ultimately I had to toss it to the trash. I would like to give the other teas a try but I'm just too hesitant it might be the same outcome. Maybe if Waka would decide to make a variety pack of different sample size flavors they might have something good going for them. Just an idea...

WAKA TEA ~ "IT'S REALLY GOOD" !!
"WAKA TEA" IS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! i purchased the Green Tea and today I grabbed one of the TALLEST glass tumblers I have and filled it with iced water. I soon discovered a tiny but long "measuring spoon" IN the bag! I added just three spoons that dissolved quickly and WOW! I'm glad I stopped at three because my result was A VERY TASTY and "STOUT" Frosty Iced Tea!! I also confess that I added just a 'tiny-tiny' measure of Sweet N' Low to tame things down. Next time I will try two (tiny) spoons instead of three? Friends, WAKA truly is MUCH BETTER than I hoped it would be! *** I LIKE "ICE TEA" but it usually requires extended time to process to the final brew? So 25+ minutes later I MAY be good to go? BUT ~ because I am USUALLY "IN A HURRY" ~ I grab a "diet x" soda instead and that's never a good trade. NOT SO with WAKA! IF your water is pre-chilled YOU have ICE TEA ~ in 60 SECONDS or less(!) ~ ice cubes and all. I am confident my WAKA will be just as good in HOT water too! My ONLY regret is WAKA does not offer "JASMINE"! I must mention the WAKA bag is QUITE GENEROUS in size and specifies "200 SERVINGS"! Considering how truly 'concentrated' WAKA is, this bag is going to last me to the end of summer! I am tempted to buy a standby bag now, but have no idea about shelf life? Friends, I have finally found a 'favorite' Tea!

Loaded Tea at home for under $1 - yes, please!!!
One of Herbalife's MLM 'Nutrition Club'-s opened here in East Bumf*** and I have a friend who was posting on social media several times a week about how yummy they were, how much they energized her or made her feel re-energized after being depleted in the heat, mowing her yard, etc. Curiousity got the better of me... THOSE COLORS 😍 THE FLAVORS/NAMES 🤤. Looked the biz up and while the menus all appeared online, there were no prices. Called my friend and - y'all, when I tell you that $8 for a 20oz drink OFFENDED me!! This is a town where the 'rich people' would be considered lower middle class. That kinda thing makes me weirdly petty; like I'm not gonna bash but I will find your recipes and make that stuff myself!! (This is how I learned the Herbalife shops are the modern MLM structure, at least for the brand, via an Eater.com article from last year.) FWIW: The brand's "N•R•G" is literally guarana powder and the brand's "Beauty Blend" is literally just [water soluble, consumable] collagen powder. While looking for recipes based on the menu from the local shop (Pinterest), I stumbled upon an app for SILVER LINING LESSONS Not an Herbalife affiliate, that I can tell so far [at least not so far as the drinks I've made having any Herbalife ingredients] and each recipe - well over 220, I believe - gives an approximate cost per 32 Oz cup. The front runner for my taste buds so far has been Pep Rally, which called for this Waka Green Peach Tea powder. Do not be thrown by how pricey a 4.5 Oz bag is - it makes up to 200 servings. That's less than a dime per!! Literally the most expensive ingredient, depending on the price of the guarana powder. The smell of the dry powder is very peachlicious; the flavor isn't bitter like most green tea I've had (to be fair, once you've added half a packet of pineapple passion fruit drink mix, half a packet of citrus and orange energy drink mixes, and half a packet of another orange drink mix, 32 Oz of ice and about 10 Oz water (I'm not using aloe Vera juice) you'll arrive at your 'less than a buck per serving'. I mix all my stuff in my blender til slushee consistency, pour it in my 40 Oz tumbler, and sip it all day.

I really like Waka green tea powder!
I really like this product. It is a powder that easily mixes with water. I put water in an automatic coffeemaker and add one teaspoon of Waka and turn it on and voila, 12 cups of green tea. You can make it as strong as you want just that easily. I know there are lots of things online about quality being an issue with this type of product, and I am no expert, but I find this product easy to use and it tastes good.
