Easy to setup.. work like a champ
This is very well made and Installing it made me a little nervous, because there obviously is a lot of force on the doorframe, and there was a fear of the wood cracking. My walls are concrete, so the wood in the doorway couldn't give much. You may see some separation of the wood in the door frame when fully tightening the bar, but just do it slowly. MAKE SURE you have a very sturdy doorframe before attempting to install this. The bar has levels on either side, which is very convenient, as it can be a pain making sure it's perfectly level.

It just works!
Holds up pretty well. Stays in place. However, my walls are pretty rustic and rough so there's lots of friction. Would be great if the cushioned handled portions of the bar somehow covered the whole bar so that you can adjust your grip from wide to narrow.Having it always up encourages me to do a few chin ups as I walk through the doorway....or even just dead hang for a minute.

Read directions and place properly.
This product was easy to mount between a doorway without any damages to frame. I use this pull up bar to hang so I can stretch my back. Works and feels great.

When I installed this pull-up bar, it broke my dry-wall
When I installed this pull-up bar, it broke my dry-wall and even if I managed to installed it I am not feeling comfortable as it would not hold my weight securely. I will return this item.

Great, until it's not.
I thought it initially was amazing and easy to use. Unfortunately, we took it down and it's useless - it kept slipping (my son is only 115lbs) and the doorframe started to crack..... I would just be cautious regarding how well your home/doorframe was built, I guess. It's a house built in 2003, so not too old, but maybe not built with solid doorframes, unfortunately.
