2 months and and I'm loving it more each day
Receiving sensitivity is phenomenal most times the IPO is set to 1 the rare times I've had to use IPO 2 , well you know yourself the bands have been terrible these days. Separate monitor makes life easy ,especially at my age, I have had it for over two months now and I'm still finding lovely features. I am not a digital user so I can't help you there but CW users like it, practically all my QSOs have commented on my modulation even under poor conditions it was loud and clear, and that's with the handheld OEM mike, it linked with my PC easily. It's just a pleasure to use , the tuner is spot on, I got the aess system and balancing between the internal speaker and external speaker once that set, I leave it. AGC works very well I have another Ham who's quite close to me and with a three-way conversation it compensates very well without having to use the attenuator. I don't use the 3D setting but like on All radios it's confusing to me. On the whole I can't see myself buying another radio ever ,It has all the features I need , and the others I will eventually grow into . For the newbie it is perfect but in saying that, you would be hard pressed to find any fault with this lovely transmitter as a seasoned Ham. It has everything The only problem I have ever found with this radio is in the touch screen sometimes it does not react to my fingertouch (I could use the buttons or the mouse) I believe it's because I am a musician and the tips of my fingers are quite callous, that's easily taken care of though, ( I could cut off my fingers ha ha), I just use my other hand . Seriously I don't think you will find a nicer radio in that price range. Just look at some of the videos on YouTube and the happy owners. (watersstanton) That guy is 60 years in amateur radio and it's what he works out of ,, good advice. All the best 73s 2M0JUI

Fantastic ham radio rig
Fantastic ham radio rig.. Pity Moonraker are trying to rip hams off with the price they're wanting on this site. The main dealer in the uk is selling them for £985 with a FREE M-70 Desk Mic and £85 Cashback offer from Yaesu.....
