So far so good. As described. 1) Functions as a great oem replacement. 2) fits as expected. Same size as original 3) old battery died after 30min of use. This one went approx 12hours 4) installation was straightforward, but you do have to be careful and be somewhat technically adept. 5) definitely a great value compared to others in the market.

Does not charge or work on an Ipod Classic 5 60gb.

I installed this battery a while ago, and so far it's been working well. I recommend it. I bought another battery for another iPod, and I hope it's of good quality and works as well as the old one.

Worked good for my ipod replacement.

I have a few pods that I kept "stock", like the one from my high school days. That one still uses the original hard drive (for as long as it can), and this battery is a great drop in replacement for that. If you have a flash mod or something to free up space, you want to get a bigger battery. If you don't have space (like OEM), this is a drop in, great working replacement battery. I'm happy that these are still being made.

Good battery and perfect fit for iPod classic 6th gen with original "thin" case. Only major issue was no adhesive/tape was included (product image shows 3M tape). The other issue was no branding on the battery just a sticker to indicate the capacity. But the battery does work and has no problems, just those two issues.

I used this in an ipod 7 classic rebuild and it works very well so far. Holds a good charge and my daughter has been able to rock using it. Works fantastic. This company in particular makes good replacement batteries for iPod classic in my opinion. They charge and work as well as the original OEM for me.
