Ehh, I could have totally done the painting job without these. Not bad, but not great. A good angled brush and the cutting in was done better in corners/at ceiling.

Tool that makes cutting in go much faster and corners around mirrors are a breeze. I clean mine after use and they last a while.

This corner paint and edging set is a great to tackle slow, detailed spots where rollers are just too bulky. Two tools are included in the set – one for getting into corners and another for painting along straight edges. You also get two replacement heads for each. The size is perfect for tight spaces, but it’s handheld, so you're limited to the height you can reach. And the handles are flat and not compatible with an extension pole. Still, if you've got a ladder handy you should be fine. The pads clearly reduced splatter and speckling compared to a roller and seemed to smoothly “smear” the paint into corners, resulting in crisper lines along inward and outward edges. That said, I found out after buying (since it was printed on the packet but not on the product page) that the nylon pads are meant for gloss, not matt paint. I was using Dead Flat Ultra Matt so that wasn't ideal to find out. Whilst it helped reduce splatter - and great at reducing bleed on outer edges, I still needed to touch up afterwards to get a more uniform finish. The pads are definitely useful for edging, but I wouldn’t ditch the masking tape just yet if you're looking for a perfectly sharp finish. Overall, a useful kit for gloss paint, but less suited for (and only tested with) matt.
