I purchased this urn for my dad’s ashes. It is exactly as shown in the picture. The woodwork is beautiful and smooth. It is very well made and sturdy. The lid fits tightly. My dad was a small man. About 125 lbs. most of his ashes fit but not all. Storage might be limited for someone that weighs more. That was ok tho because we wanted to hold some out for jewelry for the grandkids. This was a great price compared to that of urns purchased through the funeral home.

This wooden urn is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is amazing. It is better looking in person than in the photo, and the price was very affordable. It's kind of strange writing a review about something as personal and sacred as a burial urn, but we just had to say something about how pleased we are with this beautiful, solid and sturdy wood urn which can now hold our loved one's cremains.

Quick prime delivery. Real wood. Nice real carving. Slightly darker / less red than pictured but very beautiful. Secure lid but easy to open should you wish to access interior, which we will be doing this summer to spread a few ashes in our favorite places. Love ya Papa!
