I should have trusted the review from the electrician who said this is a dangerous faulty design. As a licensed contractor I would NEVER EVER let someone install one of these. 1) The wires inside are much too thin, and are unprotected from abrasion, WHICH WILL ABSOLUTELY CAUSE A FIRE eventually. This fixture should be illegal to sell. 2) There are literally no instructions to assemble it and the wires are all colored incorrectly so it's impossible to tell which is positive and negative. 3) The materials and assembly are so cheap as to be laughable. One of the arms was threaded poorly and the nut would not engage. Regardless, the way the arms attach to the hub is very very poor and will fail very quickly. The metal is ridiculously thin and the weight is suspended on a single cheap threaded nut. This could have been a five star light for less than $1 more cost of manufacturing. Correct wiring (pennies), better attachments (a few more pennies) and simple instructions (a few cents) would have been all it takes. Instead there are probably thousands upon thousands of these out there just ticking time bombs for a fire.

A little difficult to install, instructions were not very clear. However a beautiful lamp!

Well, I managed to put it together. It does look as good as the picture—just a warning to whoever wants to buy this. Indeed, the build quality is not great. The nuts that hold the metal tube connections are too weak, so I need to buy better ones at the hardware store. It is cheap for the light that looks pretty good. Also, it is funky that every time you switch on and off the light, it will change the color temperature. If you still like the price and the look of the light, just prepare.

Ships straight from China, and I believe this is a knockoff from the ones I had seen on google. Item was all bent up in terrible packaging, has a broken wire, and broken lens, see pics. After I unbent everything, I used a piece of cat5 wire and scotch lock to repair the harness, they had two lenses in one light so I had an extra to use. Installed the light, works good, bright. To change color temp of light, turn light on for office white, flick switch on off to change to 3000k yellowish soft white, flick on off again to have daylight. Does not have memory. We kept it because it lights up the 13x13 playroom nicely. Quality is more of a $40-50 light. I would not recommend this.

This is a good lamp, very contemporary look and it it quite bright. Like the attention to detail.

Love the overall look of the product, but the install and directions for an average person is unsatisfactory. Needs more through directions and easier setup. Especially concerning the change in lighting

I have previous experience assembling furniture so this wasn't too difficult for me to put together. The only thing I didn't like out of the box was the quality of the light dampeners, which were a bit frail. And the metal housing for the light, was quick to bend. Once they are inside the lights, nothing touches them, so risk of breaking for any reason isn't high. AS mentioned in the description, you can't keep the light warmth on one setting; you have to keep turning the lights on/off to get one you like if you want a particular one. I enjoy this light, it's unique and miles brighter than the previous dome light that was here. I'm glad my ceiling is sturdy, but the light attached is kind of loose and can wobble if hit. I never see it move though. I don't have any kids or animals at risk of causing chaos either. It's been on my ceiling for a year now and no issues! I'd recommend it if you are willing to put in a small amount of work to get it on your ceiling.

Light comes in pieces that are nearly impossible to secure. The lenses are flimsy and seem like they will fall out. Extremely overpriced and feels risky to install. Loss of money on my part.
