This is the best product ever made. I buy the 6 x 6in duo derm extra thin. I cut whatever size I need from the sheet, peel back the paper and apply it to the wound. It is medicated. You can leave on for a few days. It with get White and foamy under the bandage but that’s the medicine. When you take it off, it will not interfere with the wound. I lost my big toenail and this was what a friend gave me because when it came off it didn’t harm the bare toe bed. Love the product

Q: Can this be cut into smaller pieces or trimmed to fit a wound more easily?

Absolutely! While the backing is still on, use scissors (though, I prefer an exacto knife) to cut it into whatever size and shape you need! Just be sure to cut the piece large enough to allow the edges to hold, especially if you're using it for moist wound healing! I hope this helps!
