This can come in very handy for various tasks. As a DIYer I often work alone and constantly find I'm missing a "third hand". This device often saves me grief. The sliders are easy to set and can hold a screw long enough for me to get the power driver on it. Repetitive marking out is a doddle. The integrated levels come in handy, as does the mechanically locked T square and friction locked multi-angle bevel square.The only (minor) gripe I had was that the centre of the slider groove was not marked on the main bar, so I had to use offset measurements.Great little gadget.PS-Dear SAKER, for your info it is not a king or an emperor - it is a RULE not a ruler

Easy to use and very helpful with many DIY projects.

Useful, but, the measurement was out by over 1mm. This cannot be adjusted. I carefully filed out the fixing hole, now good. The plastic end cap on the cross piece sits proud of the main part, causing the cross piece not to sit level when tightened up, carful pruning solved this. It would have been good for constant repeatable positioning but not good for accurate positioning. It's now good to use.
