I purchased this for my son's 2005 Nissan Xterra. We had 2 codes pertaining to the MAF sensor with 1 other for a Cyl 5 misfire. We needed a coil on cyl 5 and not the MAF but it is working properly. Going to pull it and install the old one to save this one for future use if needed. I destroyed the package when it arrived so not returning it. I feel like it could have been better packaged.

It was a perfect fit but found out later it was a hose that was spit and causing me to loose power. But the sensor wasn’t the problem but changed it anyway and now the 2012 Nissan Murano runs great.

Do not buy! Just because it's cheap and fits your vehicle doesn't mean it will work. Just save your money and buy one from AutoZone or O'Reilly's or any actual auto parts store not on Amazon and especially not a third party seller. Yes this part did fit my car and it worked for a month but after that it stopped working and I had to go buy a actual mass air flow sensor and now I can't return this one because it's outside of the return window.

Husband only buys his parts for his motorcycle and cars on Amazon.

I installed this mass airflow sensor on my 2007 Nissan Xterra SE with the 4.0L engine. After 1 year and 9 months the sensor began to under report. There are no vacuum leaks. The vehicle runs smoothly but fuel control has been thrown off. It reports 0.00705 lb/s at idle and 0.02851 lb/s at 2,500 rpm while fully warmed up. This life span is acceptable considering the $254 price of a Nissan MAF sensor. I will attempt to clean the sensor since it is trying to work but costing me fuel at 13.2 mpg.
