The Grandson loved building these projects with me! He didn't even realize he was learning so much!

I got this for my nephew who is 7 at Christmas time. When he opened it, he wanted to start putting it together right then and there while he still had other presents to open. His parents had to tell him to wait. Really enjoy the different builds he can make with this!

great for a holiday gift

So far we have put 3 of these together. They are easy and educational. My 5 yo loves the build. The screws are tiny, so I have had to do most of the that part. But, so far none of the motors have been strong enough to really run the build. They function and spin, but only move tiny bits. It's been a let down after building the kits.

My 8-year-old LOVES these. For him, it feels like one step up from age-appropriate Legos. Some of the pieces aren't cut very precisely so don't align and can't fit all the screws provided, but it still works.

We purchased this kit for our grandson for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! He had all five of them put together in a day or two with a bit of help from his dad. He is 7 years old and very into how things work and are put together. These are fun and I would recommend them!
