Perfect for ducking into store in a low crime area, but obviously would never withstand serious attack. Still high quality and perfect for coffee shop runs.

The wheels are really tiny, so are the numbers on it, which makes it hard to use. Worse, the wheels do not have limiters on them, so as you scroll through the numbers, there is no hard "click". Because it is smooth scrolling, this means you can easily have your wheels slightly misaligned and it won't unlock. Combining the tiny wheels, tiny numbers, and smooth scrolling, it's a slow, temperamental and frustrating lock to use. I was using this as a ski lock, so I couldn't use with gloves in the cold weather. This frustration is amplified because you need to have your code dialed-in to both unlock AND lock it. But why you should really avoid this lock? It's not secure! Since the wheels are smooth scrolling, if you slowly turn them you can feel resistance when you get to your lock code. If I close my eyes and feel the wheel resistance as I turn, I can reliably land on my lock code and open it.

Nice bit if kit. Light weight lock. Wouldn’t stop a serious theft effort, but it can buy a few minutes of security.

Other than the fact the lock had some “wear and tear” on it, I’m happy with it.

I use one these in addition to my serious lock to prevent opportunistic theft of a wheel or seat, which has happened more than once. Also when the bike is mounted on the car and I duck into a restaurant or store.

I thought this was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Very light weight and simple. My daughter used it for her scooter going to school. One day, my daughter told me, "Daddy, the lock won't open". I said, "Daughter, did you use the correct combination (which she chose)?". Daughter said, "yes daddy, I did and it won't open". Daddy went on to use his super mechanical and theoretical abilities to overcome the lock from locking. Unfortunately, Daddy did not read the numerous reviews suggesting this lock will fail. Therefore, Daddy failed too. Lastly, I went to the product's homepage and this product is not available. Makes me think they pulled this item and dumping it via Amazon and other e-retailers.

Overall, I like this a lot and would buy it again. The combo lock was easy to set to your own custom number. The lock is not too difficult to roll up on itself to put in a bike jersey pocket. The numbers on the dials are pretty tiny and would be tough to see in dim or dark light or if your close-up vision was poor.

This has an absolutely horrible locking mechanism. No matter how much you follow the instructions my first one broke and would not unlock and the second one it was a huge fight to get the combination changed. Now that the combination is changed and I'm never going to change it again it's working out well so I kept it but otherwise I would not have got it again.
