Cute toy
I got this for my grandkids, and it was great for a Sunday afternoon. They did get dirty! but it was a lot of fun. They felt tehy were really making the vase. And even more fun painting it. A great activity.

This was a really cute set, that I used with my kids, and they really liked experiencing how to make clay.

You need more than one block of clay to make something worth making
Item is as described, but the amount of clay needed to build something is deceiving. After writing this in a review, I was contacted by the seller. They offered me refund on one of the Potter wheels I had bought ( I got 2 of them for my twins), or they can give me more clay. They contacted me!!!! It was awesome. Much appreciated! They only get 4 stars for the clay falling short, but if I can rate their customer service -id give them 10⭐

Fun for kids, not as easy using the wheel but told it has been improved
We just used the wheel and it seemed to have weak power to actually shape the pottery. The seller said they have heard this feedback and increased the power of the motor now. It was still fun for the kids. More water helps shape it on the wheel a little more. So shaping a little before putting on the wheel helps.

Motor too weak, save yourself the frustration
My 6 year old picked this out and against my better judgement (knowing how difficult it is to spin a pot on even professional wheels), I bought it. The instructions weren’t clear enough on the consistency the clay should before adding to the wheel. We got the first package too wet and right away had to open the second to mix together. The motor is extremely weak. The slightest touch on the clay stops the wheel from spinning. Raising the sides was impossible. We finally gave up, rolled out the clay and used some cookie cutters we already had to make shapes to dry and paint.

Great for kids
My great granddaughter loves this pottery wheel. It comes with everything that you need. It’s nice and colorful, well built, a great item for fine motor skills. Her mom puts a plastic tablecloth on the table and away she goes . They both are actually enjoying it together. It is well worth the cost, makes a great gift for kids.
