My device is doorbell 4. The panel seems to work and can be detected in the app, but it took about a day to get reflected in the app. And there seems to be a lag such that in the night (10pm) it’s shown as charging, but in daytime shown as connected but not charging.

So far, I really like it. Installation was easy, and it doesn’t look bulky. It has helped from having to change the battery out by around 25%. It doesn’t seem like a lot, but weather (cold, hot, rain, snow, etc.), sunlight, placement and following instructions will have a factor in the quality you get. I have trees in my front yard, so that is why my solar power is around 25% better for me. The better the sun can get to it and positioned right, the better the amount you will get. I give it a 5 star review for what I have seen this far.

This has saved so much time and frustration. Never failed that we were leaving town and the doorbell needed to be charged. With this in place we no longer even think about it. Definitely worth purchasing

Before I got this , I was changing the battery almost every day. Now it stays charged. I did have to change some of the settings which is a bummer cause it doesn’t capture everything. But if it’s dead it wouldn’t catch it either.
