Leaky and poor quality
Didn’t work - water and gas leaked out of the gas valve. Returned for refund.

I think it's a design issue.
It's leaky so I returned it.

Thinking of buying a sparkling water maker? Think again ...
This has a slow leak, so the water is only really fizzy for the first few minutes after making it. Even if it worked perfectly, the water ends up costing about 4 times more than the cheap sparkling water from supermarkets. It was fun for the kids the first time we used it, but only the first time. And there are far cheaper ways of entertaining children for far longer. Just another unwanted kitchen implement/utensil within a few days of purchase.

Do not buy
Doesn’t hold pressure over a couple of days. Looks good but is not fit for purpose.

Brings back a few memories
I remember my grandmother having a soda siphon for her nightly whisky and soda... This soda siphon is really easy to setup and use, but you do need to read the instructions about how much water to fill the siphon with before you carbonate it, letting it settle, and keeping it cool. It's all there in the instruction (and in English unlike the pictures in the description for this item). You also need to order some gas canisters to carbonate the water as these are not included. Overall, this siphon works very well, and it perfect when you just need a small shot of soda, and don't want to open a fresh bottle every day.

Flat in 10 mins
What a shame, my grandfather had a glass one of these, sadly passed now so I got a friend to help me set it up, it ejected all of the gas in one big fart, made a very small glass full of sparkling water, went back 10 mins later, completely flat. Sent back the same day.

Great retro look, leak free, easy to use.
I seem to remember growing up with something similar to this. This soda maker is ideal for me as now my kids have left home, I only need make smaller amounts. It’s easy to keep water chilled in the fridge and it saves large bottles of sparkling water going flat. Setting it up is super easy and it works really well. The CO2 cartridges are available on Amazon and are inexpensive. I love the retro look and it looks great on my bar. So far, I’ve not experienced any drips or leaks and if I do run into any problems, I will update this review accordingly. I hope you find my review helpful.
