I must admit to being amazed at the quality of these non-OEM batteries. They appear identical in every way to the original Baofeng batteries supplied with the UV-17R Plus radio...right down to the stickers and lettering on the plastic bodies of the original battery case. Since the UV-17R comes with a 'cradle charge' type battery these will also slip right in to the UV-17R model and allow you to charge with a USB type C cable such as the Plus model uses. I recommend them.

This 2 pack of UV-17 batteries fit my 2 radio, and with the added capacity, my radio now last all day. The batteries were easy to attach, and there is a USB-C charging jack on the back of each battery. A pair of USB-C charging cables are included. Functionality wise, these batteries perform as advertised, and I feel they are a good value. I highly recommend these batteries to increase capacity, and extend use of the UV-17 unit.
