This an amazing piece of kit for a very reasonable price. If you phone the company they are super helpful and do not push their most expensive product either. This was bought for a friend with severe dyslexia and he has found it extremely useful in helping to read a variety of text, Newspapers, books, magazines, letters and also on text a tablet screen. It does take some practise and you need to choose the voice and speed that suits you. Note that all the voices are a bit tinny in sound. It isn’t perfect but it has definitely helped him a lot. It also translates into and from other languages. Give it a try as you can return it after trying providing you stay within the return window. Happy to help with any questions if I can.

This is a great portable text line scanner to have on hand. It's packed with features like scan and read, scan and save, voice translation, text translation, and even a voice recorder. It's small enough to toss in a bag and makes a convenient tool for studying, travel, or business use. You can scan one line at a time, which works well for most tasks, but keep in mind it’s not meant for scanning large blocks of text. For the best results, press gently onto the surface when scanning printed material. The translation feature is surprisingly accurate and fast, which really helps when working with different languages. The voice recorder picks up sound clearly and plays back decently. The voice translation function is helpful and uses two buttons (A and B), which makes it easy to switch between languages during conversation. Battery life seems to be good and took about 1.5 hrs. to fully charge. Overall, this is a smart little device that gets the job done and I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a compact tool for quick OCR scanning and translation.

This little gadget surprised me in the best way. I got it mostly out of curiosity, but it’s turned out to be super useful and fun. It scans single words or full chunks of text from just about anything I throw at it—books, labels, notes—and actually reads them aloud clearly. The voice translation part is neat too, especially with how many languages it supports. It’s not just a novelty—this thing is actually useful for studying, travel, and randomly scanning things around the house just to hear it read out loud (don’t judge me). It connects to Wi-Fi, stores scanned content so I can go back and review later, and it doesn’t feel clunky or overly techy to use. Honestly, it's kind of a blast. Total win for language nerds, travelers, or just someone who likes to play with cool tools.

I've been incredibly impressed with this World Scanner Go Pen over the past couple of weeks since it arrived. The pen is very reasonably priced, the packaging is smart and slick-looking, the pen itself feels well-built and the interface is both clear and intuitive. The multi functionality of the pen is brilliant: from reading out text in several languages, to translating text in several language, to the voice record function, and the voice translate function (through which I managed to have a conversation with my Moldovan builder in both English and Romanian!). I'm yet to find a fault with this product, and as a young professional - I believe it would also be easy to use/set up for both children and more senior users. It was an easy decision to give this review 5 stars!
